Goldfrapp
GOLDFRAPP Biography taken from England's singer/composer/keyboardist Allison Goldfrapp began exploring music as a part of her studies as a Fine Art Painting major at Middlesex University, mixing sound, visuals, and performances in her installation pieces. While she was still in college, she appeared on her friend Tricky's 1995 debut Maxinquaye, which led to appearances on albums from other cutting-edge electronic artists, including Orbital's Snivilisation and Add N to X's Avant Hard. By the late '90s, Goldfrapp began honing her own compositions; one of her friends passed some of her demos on to composer Will Gregory. Finding much in common in their musical tastes and approaches, the duo took Allison's surname as the name for their collaboration. After signing to Mute in 1999, Goldfrapp delivered their debut album, Felt Mountain, in fall 2000. Felt Mountain went on to nealry universal acclaim and spawned several singles, including the Utopia Genetically Enriched EP, which arrived in early 2001. After spending most of that year touring, Goldfrapp spent most of 2002 recording and returned with Black Cherry in spring 2003. 2005 saw the release of the Ooh La La single and the full-length Supernature, both of which continued the disco and glam-rock influences of the duo's previous album. LINKS Goldfrapp's Homepage Guardian Review of New Album, "Supernatural" They (Alison Goldfrapp (vocals and synths) and Will Gregory (synths)) are my favourite group of the moment. Distorted synths and breathy vocals adorn both the albums I have (Supernatural and Black Cherry) and it's extremely effective. 80's bits and pieces have a cool retro appeal to them and with the theatrical sensibilities of a glam-rock band, these guys should be bigger than they are. This album is much more immediate than Black Cherry, more poppy, but I like that. They're not afraid of undergroound nay-sayers. Plus, Alison Goldfrapp is English, which makes her super dooper cool.

Cricket
Cricket is a very English and measured game and, as such, is largely neglected by the US. This I intend to rectify by producing this flashy little thread. There is currently a series of Test matches between England (ranked no.2) and Australia (ranked no.1) called the Ashes, which England have lost to varying degrees over the past 10 years or so. The Ashes started way back in 1930's, when Australia finally beat England after years of us (the English) trouncing them. The Australians were so happy they burnt the stumps (the wooden sticks the bowler aims at) and put them in a little pot. The Ashes was thenceforth created, ushering in the greatest cricket contest ever. This year is the first oppurtunity England have had to win, with the Australian side not up to their best and the England team improving match by match. The series is currently 1-1, with 3 matches having been played (one was a draw) and 2 matches remain. The next match starts on Thursday, and England cannot lose if they are to reclaim the Ashes. We are on a roll, however, and should at least draw. Exciting stuff i'm sure you'll agree...

I need girl help
I had it too. It works. Apparently it has nasty side-affects, but i didn't notice any severe ones. I have pretty sensitive skin, so i had very dry skin for a couple of months but a tub of E45 a day sorts that right out.

Big jugs and a bit of meat are better than no jugs and a washboard stomach.

Recordings Of You Guys
Sorry, i've been a bit slow with the next recording. It's coming, don't worry. And Qball you're pretty good at bass. Good bassists are in much higher demand than good guitarists, so you'll get paid much more.
