exclusive interview with Simon Nessman So first question, a silly and boring one i admit, but tell us how you started modelling ? S.N : The older sister of my friend from highschool scouted me. By the way why have you accepted ? Was it for the money mainly when you started ? S.N : I didn't really know what it was i accepting when i signed on with my mother agency. for me it was more a case of why not than why. Of course flashing some big dollar signs at a seventeen year old from a small town, will never take away from his interest. Do you think or would you say it has changed ? S.N : my motives? I've really grown to appreciate the industry for what it is, and what it has to offer. The experience has been an all around positive one, and i have come a long way personally because of it. would i do it for free? No So you've done ads for D&G or Givenchy. Is it easy representing such iconic brands ? S.N : The trick is its not me representing these iconic brands. I just take a few pictures, and for the next six months its those images that represent the brand. I love Givenchy !! So tell me have you met Riccardo Tisci ? if yes, how was it ? S.N : I have met Riccardo on a few occasions, and it's been nothing but good vibes every time. big fan of Mr. Tisci. You did many runaway shows, so tell us how is it ? do you like doing it ? S.N : I'll never complain about having to walk down the runway. the process leading up to it i could do without, eat those brussel sprouts. By the way, i know that backstage lots of things are going on like models having sex !! Is it true or is it a stupid stereotype ? S.N : I'm yet to come across something quite so exciting. If it's out there you need to fill me in real quick, cause time moves slow when your sittin backstage. Oh and what about models and drugs ? or alcohol ? Are they really much more addicted than the average people ? S.N : i dono im a virgin Do you have a beauty secret ? something you take every morning ? or a home-made skin cream ? please share with us some of your secrets ? S.N : the less time you spend looking at yourself in the mirror, the more beautiful you'll get. Yes i must admit you're perfect ! However i've never seen any nude pictures of you ! why ? S.N : well that would just take all the fun out of it. I think we could all watch a little less tv. and read a few more books. Modelling isnt something you can do all your life, so what have you plan for the future ? S.N : You obviously havent met my ninety four year old grandpa, this family ages like whisky. What about love ? Have you find your angel ? S.N : I certainly have, shes hiding in the real world for now though.... Last question, what is stylish today ? S.N : granola
