Yes, this is a project I have been working on and off for quite a while. BZ will soon be on the top of my list of priorities and I hope to get this implemented once and for all. But it will be at least a few months out.

As usual a whiny few are ruining it for the rest of the members, complaining about how its a popularity contest and they are getting "down voted" We are discussing it internally on how to adjust it so that its a non issue. Hopefully it will be back in the next few days once we agree on a solution.

Thanks for the suggestion, we have something that is not live yet that is making backups of all the pictures. unfortunantly this only covers the last few years and not going back till the beginning of time. But hopefully it will improve this link rot issue without having to depend on people to do it for us.

We are discussing that internally, I prefer the anonymous as less feelings get hurt. Also regarding the confused, we can remove any emoji that we dont like. I think as long as they are mostly positive ones (or neutral) hopefully no one will get upset. But I guess we shall see.
