Thanks for the suggestion, we have something that is not live yet that is making backups of all the pictures. unfortunantly this only covers the last few years and not going back till the beginning of time. But hopefully it will improve this link rot issue without having to depend on people to do it for us.

We are discussing that internally, I prefer the anonymous as less feelings get hurt. Also regarding the confused, we can remove any emoji that we dont like. I think as long as they are mostly positive ones (or neutral) hopefully no one will get upset. But I guess we shall see.

Changed, and its a bit of a pain to change a thumb since it needs to be bumped first then changed. I will see if the dev can allow me to change it inside the thread itself and maybe allow the thread creator to edit it as well.

So can you give me an example, still dont follow. When you edit a super old post its most likely to never be seen since people generally are only looking at the newer posts. Wouldnt it be better to just reply to the current topic with the images? And yes most likely permanent since I am having to restore 1,500 posts from an angry user and this is not the first time I have had to do it. That really breaks the flow of the threads if things suddenly disappear.

How long do you wait to edit your layouts?

We have had problems where upset users were deleting all their old posts and causing issues. I set it to 1 day edit window, I can extend that to a week if everyone thinks thats more appropriate. But you cant edit other posts apart from the last one? I dont think there is a setting for that. Can you please try it out, like post twice here and try to edit the first one? Thanks.
