VS like to see the "commitment" the girls put into training their bodies. It's what gets a lot of them noticed. But they also want to promote a healthier body image. Karlie, Chanel, Lindsay all gained weight during their time with VS. Not a lot but there was a major difference in their looks after they became Angels. Karlie and Lindsay especially. Look at Lindsay in the 2008 show. She was literally bones. And while she didn't gain a lot she looked a lot healthier during her time as Angel. Same for Karlie who was always skinny but she became very fit. But Vita isn't looking fit anymore. I do hope there is a change.

Yes she has always been skinny. In those swim shots from 2015 she is still very much skinny but its the definition of her body in the current shots that is proof. She is on some kind of extreme training/gym regimen. We don't know how she eats or anything like that but she looks very scary. Look at someone like Jo who works out a lot but she still looks healthy. Vita isn't looking healthy anymore. How can we say VS for sure. They like their girls to be fit but they still have at least somewhat of a healthy looking body. Even Romee and Taylor who were a lot skinnier in the 2014 show look a lot more healthier now. Don't know what's up with Vita.

Shame that she got the attention of VS once she lost all that weight. It's clearly what they wanted and she did it. Can't blame her.

The new commercial is really boring. Would've been better in colour and longer. @Cult Icon yes models still work heavily in the industry and get a lot of campaigns and what not. Designers particularly still stick with models. Models will never ever really be replaced. But my point was that VS still at least make somewhat of an effort to make their girls. They might not make supers anymore but I give them points still for trying and not fully diving in to celeb mania. But yes you're right.

You can talk crap about VS all you want. They might from time to time go for girls like Kendall and Gigi but at least they've stuck to their guns during the whole celebrity era of fashion and never hired actresses or singers for their company to represent their brand. They've always used models. Can't say the same for SI (Beyoncé, Ronda sports stars etc) or any other publication or designer who rely on celebrity to sell. VS gets performers for their shows and likes having that celeb connection like famous boyfriends, bff's etc but at least they still put the effort these days in making a model a name. 10 Angels still have a huge following on social media and get a lot of attention due to their angel status. And they invest their time and money into these girls to still promote their brand. Like I said really only major brand out there who at least their top contract girls aren't celebrities and are models. They deserve credit for that.

@Clauds yeah you're right about Elsa and possibly Martha/Jasmine too. To be honest whether they keep some or don't I'm ok with it. I like the mix of girls we have. The top tier Angels don't have to work as much but still are recognizable. The newer girls get more popular. And VS have a bunch of girls to go to for stuff. Win win for everyone. I hope the swim special does a good amount of interviews with all the girls. Get a better chance of knowing them. Martha and Stella didn't even really get a solo segment in the last special like every other girl did. So I hope each girl gets something this time. With the announcement of Josephine do you think we will get her first commercial soon?
