Post Your Pictures
Nice. Do you live on the West Irish coast? I hear that it is beautiful. I visited when I was really young but all I can remember is my sister falling in a cow pat.

Pasta, it's a little more exciting. ^ Gordon Brown took the pen holder with him to the US as a present for Obama, and Obama gave Gordon Brown a DVD box-set as a gift. :| I hear that since this a petition has been started in the US asking Americans to write to the British Embassy to tell us Brits that we "don't suck really". Lager or bitter?

Are you .....
Yes, I'm going to the US and will see if I can nip off somewhere else. Are you a fan of tea?

THIS or THAT
Fact. Life's odd enough already. A pen holder fashioned from the timbers of the 19th Century sloop HMS Gannett, used as an anti-slavery vessel, or a box-set of 25 DVDs, including "E.T." and "The Wizard of Oz"?

Which song is in your head?
Apologies. Something a bit different: "Silent Noon" by Vaughan Williams (lyrics by Rossetti). I love the words. Nay, I love everything about it.

Robbie Keane :persuazn: I was at the game and it was a disappointment to be in the lead for 80-odd minutes and lose a goal from a stupid lapse right at the death. Unfortunately, we seem to be one of the most naive teams around when it comes to closing out a victory. But Spurs were a constant threat. They played really well, had good possession, and showed plenty of fight to get back into a game they might have lost 2 or 3 months ago. Lennon, Modric and Keane are technicians on the ball and were always dangerous. Overall, I really enjoyed the game - it was fiercely competitive, both teams played good football and had some good goalscoring chances. The point probably isn't terribly useful to either of us but in the end, I think the draw was a fair result. Welcome to Spurs' world with the late lapses. I didn't get to see the highlights, sadly. Sbragia didn't sound too happy though after the match. It's great when you go to a live match and it's really exciting and competitive. It's even better though when your team get the result. Glad that you still enjoyed it though. Sounds like a fair result from what you've said. Do you go to the Stadium of Light regularly?
