I've seen a lot of shots from this appearance, but not this one. It's great! It's my new favorite of this set; thanks. I just love, love, LOVE Rebecca; she's one of my all-time favorites; she's practically on the level of CINDY CRAWFORD for me! (Sorry for screaming; ). I can't believe she doesn't have more pages.

I *loved* this girl when I saw her in SI two years go - she was the highlight girl of that issue for me. I love how the whites of her eyes are so bright and clear, making a beautiful contrast against her dark skin. Beautiful smile and face, and her body is great; those covered topless shots in the blue bikini are particularly fantastic. Why, why didn't they have her back the next year or this? I mean isn't a girl who can do great covered topless with a warm smile exactly what they want?

Same here! Mine was Paulina, but Cindy stole me away, LOL! Took me awhile to make up my mind, but in the end it just had to be Cindy, Cindy, Cindy. Which says a lot for Cindy because Paulina was so beautiful.

That skirt - *sweet*. Looks like it's sort of a wrap, which makes the shortness of it even sexier. Yet the whole outfit is so wonderfully pretty and tasteful. Who's the girl in it?

You are right: they did have swimwear catalogs back then. But the left and right ones are maillots, while the middle one is not properly a bikini - it's some sort of pseudo-scuba two-piece suit. That's exactly one of the ones I had in mind when I mentioned "sportswear-type" items. I still have yet to see a shot of her in a bikini for VS - though I would certainly be happy to.

I don't think VS had a swimwear catalogue when Rebecca was with them. If I remember correctly, Rebecca quit modeling in 1998 or 1999, and it was a year or two after that that VS began selling swimwear. No, they were selling bikinis back in the Jill Goodacre era, before Rebecca even started with them. I remember Jill and Frederique's bikini shots very well, as they were quite memorable.

One thing I've always wondered is why Rebecca never did any bikini shots for VS, at least none that I ever saw. Maillots yes, tons of lingerie of course, a few two-piece sportswear-type pics, but never an actual bikini shot. Why is this? You can't say she didn't have the body for it! Did she have an exclusive agreement with somebody else? Must have been.

Hmm, I haven't seen the picture of Heather wearing The Slip. You know, I've read that women aren't buying slips anymore, but what if it was a really, really beautiful slip? Would they buy it then? Well, ladies, prepare to foam at the mouth: I love that dazed happy look on her face. It's as if she were a beautiful woman who had - somehow - never seen herself in a mirror until just this moment. "You mean I look like *this*?! I look like *this*??!!". LOL. Probably my favorite picture of this lovely, appealing, *delicious* VS model.

My God, who is this exquisite blonde? That beautiful face - it's just the epitome of sweet innocent blonde perfection. She doesn't seem to have her own entry anywhere. Reminds me a bit of Grace Kelly in "Rear Window" - when she came out into Jimmy Stewart's living room in all her gauzy perfection. That scene that women love, LOL!

You know, I can't think of any other picture I've seen of Rebecca in a full skirt, can anyone else? She's a sporty girl; it's not her usual style. Gowns, snug-fitting dresses, yes, but not big skirts like this. It looks great on her though. I love the full, dramatic sweep of that thing! Of course, being as leggy as she is doesn't hurt. The hairstyle on the other hand...

Check out the top headline: "Beauty and the Bust". Exhibit A - Niki! LOL. A stunningly luscious shot, and the bread- and fruit hat has always made me laugh. Were there any more shots of her inside the magazine? Must have been if she was on the cover. I love ELLE; it's on a higher plane of beauty than practically anything else out there, IMHO.

Wow. I wasn't absolutely crazy about the dress from the other angles, but wow, :shock: that's a daring little item. For a dress I thought was a bit frumpy and unflattering, what a risqué look! A *risky* look too, as that breast could decide to show even more of itself than she planned! I don't see anything keeping it in check. Nothing like getting your aurelole into People magazine. FWIW, I felt the same about the dress. A bit too toga-ish. Those earth tones sometimes work on fair-skinned women like her. Look at the brown dress Hilary Swank wore when she won the Oscar. Now there was a BFD.

Yow, is that really her in the middle pic of the left panel, covered topless?? Sure looks like her. In 1990 she was 15 years old.
