I don't think she meant it as such. For example, I'm pretty sure she was referring by "not so great blogs" to websites like SkinnyGossip (remember that article they did on her? Pretty vicious.). I do get her point. Kate is "big" for our regular models and while it has helped her achieve notoriety, it has also earned her numerous comments which you can read anytime there's an article about her (DailyMail, Huffington...) : "Huge saggy boobs", "Built like a fridge", "Where's her waist?"... I think these would be even worse if she were to pose nude. More than that, while high fashion models posing nude tends to be perceived as "artsy", commercial and regular swimsuits models doing it rarely has the same image. That's especially true if they're blonde and very busty like Kate. Maybe because it screams Playboy but it's just not seen in the same light. I'm not saying Kate posing nude would be wrong or that it couldn't be done in a tasteful way, but I can see how she would be wary of the reception this kind of shoot would get. + 1
