Nope. And most of models don't get money for the VSFS, just big names like Joan and Magda. For the rest the free publicity is the "payment", and same for fashion week, you barely make any money and sometimes they even "pay" with clothes and shit.

In all seriousness tho, I feel like MJ has put the knife to her throat with the three covers thing. If she puts just a non-plus size model on the cover next year people are going to lose her shit in a really negative way because it will be seen as taking a step back, and if she does multiple covers again then models will start dropping like flies because it will lose its exclusivity (more than it did already, there's been seven cover girls in the last three years) and SI it's a job that doesn't pay any money and requires a lot of time from the models, the big deal about SI is that if you are the cover model then it's your time to shine, if you have to share the spotlight then is not worth it if you are a big name model, so they'll end up with random girls who just really need that PR. Girlfriend may have fucked up big time with the three covers, idk if it will pay off in the long run. I'm really curious to see how they'll handle it

I just saw her in an interview for her Aerie thing (old, i know but I hadn't seen it) and she seems like a really nice and genuine girl. I'm still not a huge fan but I'm glad to see the industry seems to be slowly changing and embracing different models.

I'm the kind of person who thinks that if you don't have anything good to say i rather not say anything at all, especially not the same stuff with literally every picture of her that comes out. At this point clearly some people like the way she looks, some others don't and that's fine, I just don't see the point on bringing the same subject over and over and over and over and over again, is not like the constat weight talk actually adds anything valuable to the thread or will benefit/kill her career. I'm always up for discussing X or Y thing but at this point is just people complaning for over a year that she lost weight

IDK if it's the first time ever, but it is for sure her first time shooting with her natural hair, which is great, I approve of this and I hope VS does it more often.
