There is no way that a 500 calories a day diet is healthy. It's what is called crash-dieting. It's a quick way to lose a lot of weight but it's hardly good for you and it will lead to serious health issues if you do it long-term. Of course there is no way to know if Candice is really on such a low-calories diet or not, but it's silly to pretend it's no big deal if she is.

Well I don't think you can equate a fashion model losing 15 lbs to an average person doing so. A model will already be quite thin just because her job requires it. So when you start from a base that is already lower than the societal average, and you then heap some extra weight loss on top of that, it is a bigger deal than Jane Average losing a bit of weight.

Lets be honest here, the Candice weight loss thing is not a media conspiracy, anyone can see it for themselves if they compare her VS shots from say 4-6 months ago with the most recent ones. She has lost a lot of weight, no amount of denial will change that, and combined with the fact that she has become their most high-profile angel makes it easy for the press to jump on top of that. Realities of the media culture.

Well I don't see a lot wrong with discussing her weight loss since it's been reported in several media outlets and it's quite obvious to anyone who has seen recent pictures of her. It's okay for a fan to voice his concern, as long as he doesn't get vicious or insulting.

I find it odd that she seems to have her butt back in most of the recent VS shots, yet her face and legs still look as skinny as they did in the HF shots. Could it be that they are using some sort of creative padding for her rump?

The second picture here is a good example. Look at her thighs there and then in the candids.

It's really her thighs that have gotten too thin. Look at the 2008-2009 pictures and than at those recent candids, she's lost quite a lot of meat on them.

It's hard to argue against the fact that her legs look way too skinny in those shots with Ale and Adri.
