It is pretty unprecedented for a new president to insult so many people in such a short amount of time. Leaders of other nations, for no good reason.

Trump is 70 years old. His temperament isn't going to change. I think the GOP members of the house probably hoped that Reince Priebus would be able to protect him from his worst instincts somewhat, but it appears like Priebus is pretty low on the pecking order and Trump is instead listening primarily to Bannon.
