It's Marisa versus Christie Brinkley in CBS Sports' "Hottie Hall of Fame" competition.

Complex put up the second part of Marisa's shoot video: link. Could someone cap it?

Do we know if the Angels are going to be doing any TV shows like with "How I Met Your Mother" last year, or is it still too early to know?

Well, we'll probably never know because few interviewers would be so tactless to actually ask her about it - at least theoretically. If you were a girlscout, you must have been awesome at selling cookies.

^ As a Ravens fan, I sooo know what Polamalu was talking about: just knick the QB after he's thrown the ball and that defender will immediately be BURIED in yellow flags. Or in terms of what I've seen a lot of lately, if a receiver drops a ball and gets hit by like the cornerback a split-second later, you can't flag that as a personal foul/unnecessary roughness when in all likelihood the corner couldn't see he lost the ball or couldn't stop in time if he did see it, but they flag it anyway. Refs don't seem to be officiating so much as just flagging, which explains all the bad calls lately and all the mystery penalties. But what really makes me think the NFL is getting too pansy-ish is how they penalize things that don't hurt anyone. For example, in the Saints/Chargers London game, one of the Saints's WRs did one of those soccer-style slides in celebration of a TD and he was penalized FIFTEEN YARDS for it. That's the same level of penalty for a horse-collar tackle, which is one of the most dangerous things in the game! That's insane! Gooddell or however you spell his name needs to get fired for what he's doing to the NFL. As a sidenote, isn't it funny that all the teams with truly brutal defenses are in the Mid-Atlantic?

Considering none of you who judged SontaSejou in such repetitive responses most likely personally know SontaSejou, by this exact argument you are all also scum. Just thought I'd point that out since it's so amusing and doesn't make any of you look very good.

Yeah, it's not cheap. Now if this was a shirt, I might be convinced to pay $30 for it:

  14. I love hearing comments like these because they're so ridiculous, made even more so since just a few hours ago I posted an interview with Marisa where it starts out with the interviewer noting how surprisingly nice she is, which is said of Marisa constantly.

I don't see where you're getting this idea that I'm dismissing Tori outright. As a model in general, I have nothing against her and easily agree that it's not anywhere near being all about breasts in most modeling, but in terms of the SISE, w/o boobs, she just doesn't have the ideal physique for swimsuits, and I'll say the same thing about all those gorgeous models who would be insulted at the claim because it's the truth and they'd be naive to think it's a bad thing in today's fashion industry. I mean, how many busty models do you see with big beauty contracts? And high-profile modeling has A LOT to do with who you're dating - and for models like Bar, it's nearly everything: her thread should practically be named "Leo's other thread." But using another example, if you go to Google Trends and put in Miranda Kerr's name, it shows her big increase in popularity coincides almost exactly to the announcement that she's dating Orlando Bloom. Coincidence? Not in the slightest. Which is why I have more respect for models like Marisa who never have to resort to famous boyfriends for publicity.

^ You're welcome, Julia! And thanks for the commercial. Who new the "return to glamour" also meant the "complete abandonment of sexy"? Yeah, it's a shame you only get a glimpse of Marisa.

Oh damn, I was just about to post those pics! But thanks! Here is at least the first page of the interview from Complex's November issue - it says there's a second page, but it's the same as the first Link There's a vid there maybe Pink can grab.
  18. Many people claim Ale's torso is disproportionately long compared to her legs.

The only problem is the SISE's current editor-in-chief has yet to ever give an individual model the cover twice. Someone should write her a letter to convince her to do it for Marisa, since it's their best business decision. ^ I don't really think Tori will ever be big for SI - she's pretty, but so flat-chested I wonder why SI even uses her. They're best bets are probably Bar Refaeli and Brooklyn Decker. The most publicity either has gotten came from who they're dating, but it's more than other SI models have gotten and they both have that super-curvy physique men want to see. Maybe Marisa should try and endorse one.

^ Mehhh, they got lucky with the Bronco's QB hurting his finger. But now the Pats have lost Rodney Harrison to a possibly career-ending injury, so they might not be doing too well in the future. Suddenly Brady's injury doesn't seem too bad in comparison.

^ Oh believe me, everyone in this thread thought Marisa had more than earned the 2007 cover (and probably 2004, 2005, and 2006, too ), so to see Beyonce on it instead did more than annoy many of us. In fact, I believe my first post on BZ was anger about this happening. I do worry about the future of SI though, since there's no model that comes close to matching Marisa's popularity in the swimsuit issues to replace her when she leaves - maybe SI will have to resort to celebs more on the cover. Which is why they should give her the cover in 2009.

^ I don't think you can say SI's been taken over by celebs simply because Beyonce had the 2007 cover. The SISE has always featured non-models (athletes, cheerleaders, etc.) and probably always will, but models have always been the majority and undeniable focal point of each issue and I highly doubt a non-model getting the cover will happen again (especially considering how the Beyonce cover was basically trashed all over the internet). In fact, I would give SI the edge over VS, not only because they seem more willing to use a variety of women (black, asian, etc.), but also because the SISE is far more about the models than swimsuits, which gets the names of even the rookies out in the public in a way that only happens with VS if you're an Angel.

^ If you can find it that would be great! It would be like a little nugget of gold for us Marisa fans.
