^ Oh damn, in a side bar on the Esquire page that the SI article links to, it said Marisa wrote an article on five ways to turn on a VS model but it was just a link back to that page. I want to read five real ways to turn on hot models.

Who says it's going to be the "Rosie/Transformers show"? And her casting in T3 is getting her a great deal of mainstream press attention - probably more than any current VS model except Miranda thanks to her wedding/supposed pregnancy.

^^ So you're saying that Heidi is preventing other models from shining with VS - by not doing anything for VS? Because I could have sworn that by not doing anything for VS, she was allowing other models (Candice anyone?) to get the attention.

For what another opinion is worth, I doubt Anne V. will get the cover. Sure, she's a long-time veteran of the issue, but so was Ana Beatriz Barros. And the past three covermodels were easy to predict. Marisa, Bar, Brooklyn. It was basically a rundown of the issue's most publicly popular models. Granted, there's a rather large fall-off in popularity from Brooklyn and Bar (assuming they'll both be in the issue this year) to the rest of the models the issue has been using, and the models at the top of that next tier are probably Irina and Jessica White (thanks to their relationships). A Google News search brings over a thousand results on Irina and over two-thousand on Jessica. Anne V. has a whopping fifteen. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't in this year's issue at all.

I don't. Or at least not in the catalogs. After eight years, I don't think there's anything new to see there. I hope she does some promotional work for VS in the future, but I think it was smart of her to take on a reduced role after the high note of the Fantasy Bra and move on to other projects (especially since it looks like the "Supermodels" like Candice and Rosie are taking over) rather than be another VS hanger-on.

If you're saying I lecture people on the greatness of Marisa and put down other big-name models to make myself feel better about my own opinion, feel free to finally point out the posts that reveal this hypocrisy of mine.

I can only hope that you understand that this applies to you too, because you certainly love lecturing us at every opportunity on why Adriana is the best ever at everything while every other model comes up short.

^ Forget Loveline. Is anyone watching the Celebrity All Star game? It just occurred to me to turn on ESPN and the game is just starting. EDIT: Nevermind. Some guy is just hitting lame pitches for now. Home run? By the way, I hate watching baseball/softball.
