Ryan Murphy Turning Creepy Real Life Tale of “The Watcher” into Limited Series for Netflix Back in 2015, you may recall, a creep who called himself “The Watcher” forced a family to move out of their house in the wake of increasingly disturbing behavior towards them, and it didn’t take long for big names in Hollywood to compete for the film rights to the unsettling story. Netflix had acquired the rights back in 2018, with a feature film planned at the time. Those plans, however, have changed. Deadline reports that the story of “The Watcher” will now be told through a limited series, created by Ryan Murphy (“American Horror Story”). Ian Brennan (“Glee”) co-created and will produce alongside Murphy. Additionally, Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale have been set to star. Deadline details, “The series, which evokes the first season of Murphy’s hit American Horror Story, is inspired by the infamous “Watcher” house in New Jersey. A couple bought the 1905 Dutch colonial revival in 2014 for nearly $1.4 million. They were forced to abandon their new home over chilling letters from “The Watcher” who claimed to have been “watching” the house for decades. “I am the Watcher. Bring me your young blood,” one of the notes read. The family put the house back on the market. It didn’t sell and they rented it out. In 2017, the renter received a sinister letter from “The Watcher” too, threatening their life. The house ultimately sold in 2019 for 959K. The identity of “The Watcher” has remained a mystery.” Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Catfish) are on board to executive produce the limited series for Netflix. Joost and Schulman were originally going to direct the film adaptation of the tale.
American Horror Stories” Poster Heads Back to the “Murder House” Where It All Began The “American Horror Story” universe is expanding not only with the tenth season of the main series but also brand new spinoff “American Horror Stories,” both coming this summer. FX is calling it the “American Horror Summer,” and today they’ve shared an official poster for the spinoff series that takes you back to where it all began… the “Murder House.” The suggestion here is that certain episodes may be revisiting “AHS” storylines… For starters, the first *two* episodes of “American Horror Stories” will premiere July 15, exclusively on FX on Hulu, with “American Horror Story” Season 10 premiering August 25! The Ryan Murphy-created spinoff series will feature “one-hour contained episodes,” while the tenth season of the flagship series is titled “American Horror Story: Double Feature.” Murphy explains the spinoff, “We are doing one hour stand alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore. Many will feature AHS stars you know and love.” “American Horror Stories” will feature seven episodes in total.

Americans are refusing to get the Covid vaccine for many different reasons, but the Biden Admin is pushing for 70% vaccination so they can wield power over the unvaccinated. This has nothing to do with saving lives. It’s all about power. Kamala Harris told so-called ‘volunteers’ in Atlanta to knock on doors and harass people who may be hesitating to get the vaccine for one reason or another. Harris even gave the activists several pointers on how to overcome objections. “For example, if you knock on the door and someone says they ‘don’t have the time to get the vaccine’ — because people are busy. They’re just trying to just make it through the day. Or they say that pharmacies are never open when they do have time, well, let’s address that. Because now, you can let them know that pharmacies across our country are keeping their doors open for 24 hours on Fridays in June, including today. Because we need to meet people where they are! Some folks are working two jobs…” Harris said. “And what if they say they can’t miss work? Well, you can tell them that there are employers across the country who are offering paid time off for their employees to get vaccinated and we want to encourage and challenge more employers to do the same,’ she said. So we have partnered with the YMCA, with KinderCare, and the Learning Care Group to provide free childcare for both vaccination and recovery. We need to meet people where they are.” “You might run across people as you’re out talking and knocking, folks might say, ‘I don’t have a car’ or ‘there’s no public transportation or bus that comes by my house.’ And that’s fair, because how can we expect them to get to a vaccination site?
