David Michod directed Animal Kingdom, Hesher, and now The Rover, coming out this summer. His movies tend to be similar to fellow Australian John Hillcoat's, gritty and violent with lots of questions about morality. It stars the always awesome Guy Pearce, but also Robert Pattinson. Since I'm not a 14 yr old girl, I'm probably in the minority when I say I really like Pattinson, find him charming, and think he has a lot of potential. I could see him breaking out of his teen heartthrob image and developing a career more like Heath Ledger's. Excited!
