She was born in Barcelona (May 29th, 1982), Pilar Gimenez starts performing when she was a teenager, quickly she was involved in a girls group, Charm, with a repertoire based on japan's anime themes. In 2004 she left the group and started a solo career as An Ling and later Ailyn.
