Yea, obviously without the alien stuff.

The pine trees, the elevation, the incredible views etc.

I see what you mean.  Halo has some small lakes as well.

Looks nice (especially the light effects)!

I hear people saying that the environment is beautiful, but a bit uniform throughout the map. Did you think the same?

The game looks stunning, especially with HDR.

It's certainly beautiful, but yeah, it does get repetitive..with that being said, I still love the level design.

awesome fan made DS3 boss:

Nice. Many of the features (including the room) are from ringed city.

His greatsword is fan made too.

Yeah, the room, and that really cool NPC.  I like how the effects appear enlarged.

They also used Sister Friede and the Corrupted Monk from Sekiro.

Going to see if I can give the club another try tonight. Don't want to go to the museum until I can keep the age under 30.

Have watched some YT tips videos, but it seems like I'm already doing most of the stuff anyway. So it's really about mastering the combat more than I have so far.

I hadn't played any combat games in a long while but I have to say Sifu is very enjoyable even if the learning curve is a bit steep for me.

This was the way games used to be when there were arcades/arcade machines.  The actual game was only 1 hr long but they intentionally made it really hard so people would keep shoveling quarters into them..

And games on the Super NES/Sega Genesis/PS1 used to be very hard.  Modern games got a lot more easy.

Is it "hard but fair"?  I think that is a determining factor for a game's longevity.  It is easy to make a game hard and cheap.

Well I do feel like I'm improving.

Just seems like it's something of a learning curve, like Dark Souls franchise.

I also think their tutorial level could have been a tiny bit deeper. A lot of stuff you learn through trial and error and would have been made more sense to showcase a bit more in the early stages.

I think the mark of a good fighting game is that you keep on improving the more you play (muscle memory, tactics) and when you come back to the game a year later you are considerably worse than you were but much better than you were when you started.

 Like a musical instrument.

We are finally getting CP2077 news today!
