With Battlefield games, multiplayer is everything. Their solo campaigns aren't the main focus. It is probably not worth it for you, maybe you can rent them somehow?
January 13, 20223 yr @SympathysSilhouette have you played the old Blitzkrieg RTS games back in the day? The game is still being played now, with mods too. I still think it's the best of its class. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3V4lujciT3E&t=973s
January 18, 20223 yr Microsoft bought Activision. Kind of awkward for them that they sort of alluded to some of the toxic work place stories at Activision on the official Xbox social media accounts...
January 20, 20223 yr The Call of Duty franchise is big but definitely serious gamers are getting sick of it, and how they make the same game over and over again. Definitely some cracks in that armor. Back in the day I played COD and the expansion and COD4 and that was enough for me. Blizzard has been on the downswing . Too bad there won't be Starcraft 3. Starcraft was the rts nostalgia game of my childhood.
January 22, 20223 yr I haven't played any CoD games in about a decade now. They are garbage. Especially the single player campaigns (and their writing) were getting offensively bad.

Like all woke companies, they mostly don't care about people. Microsoft's constant "virtue signalling" is a smokescreen to hide their own shortcomings (that's what we call Tartuffes). Activision is very toxic, but they have a solution to expiate their toxicity: they'll punish the customer, by producing ultra-woke games (that we will all hate).
January 22, 20223 yr Author ^ As usual (like in Hollywood with Weinstein): they are guilty, but we get punished (with woke BS). But most people are fed up. We won't buy their woke shit anymore. Microsoft can buy the worst companies (Bethesda, Activision, etc.) and dunk on antitrust laws all they want, we (the gamers) still have other options: Japanese companies, European companies. Screw the woke American companies. If the want to get broke, so be it.
January 27, 20223 yr Author @Cult Icon I'd really love if CDPR made a new Witcher game. The Witcher 3 is still one of the best games I played

A lot of the people who worked on W3 are no longer with the company, in particular the writing talent (leads).

It'd be good to have lots of ways to customize your character. In any case, I see that the hype around this game is important, we'll see if it was justified in the end!

Did you know that the studio that made the great Bioshock games also had serious trouble (Bioshock Infinite had a lot of development troubles). After the game was made, the studio was shut down. That's sad as if the development of the game went well, we'd have Bioshock 4.
