babranski Posted March 28, 2005 Author Posted March 28, 2005 Great games, 2 Overtimes! wow! This should have been a blow out, Wisconsin was playing amazing ball on a day when UNC looked there best all season. Great game! Both teams shot about 50 percent. UNC was 9 for 10 to start the game. Is it just me, or did Kentucky really f it up that game. They deserved to win it, they were playing much better than MSU. But at the end they just fell apart. His foot was on the line! Quote
Muffin Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Yeah those games were great! I thought I was the only one watching lol I couldn't tell if his foot was on the line. Quote
safin83 Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 his foot wasnt on the line, and your right, kentucky should have won, but they started doing alot of stupid mistakes and turning it over, im still pissed about that last possesion of the first ot, i mean, at least put a goddamn shot up!!!!!!!!!! <_< Quote
the mascot Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 if UNC beats Illinois next week, i win not one, but 2 poolsLETS GO TARHEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Adam Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Well St. Joes is playing in the NIT final... NIT championship is still a successful season even though it is nothing compared to the real tourny... Quote
Don Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 The NIT used to be the premier tournament a long, long time ago before the whole thing became a bit tainted from scandal. Quote
safin83 Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 NIT = Not In Tourney is that what it really means? i think it stands for "national invitation tournament", i may be wrong though Quote
the mascot Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 i thought it was "not in tournament" becasue dont they usually give the births to teams taht were on the bubble of the NCAA tourny?? Quote
Adam Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Well the Hawks lost 60-57 in the "Not In Tourny" as you guys call it... Quote
the mascot Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 you know, its kind of an oxymoron. if it truely is called teh "Not In Tourney" but they are in a tournament anyways, you guys see where im going with this?? its almost retarded. either way... Quote
babranski Posted April 2, 2005 Author Posted April 2, 2005 its a joke, its not called Not in Tournament. I said Not in Tourney cause im lazy, so, yea. Its National Invitational Tournament. We call it NIT because its where all the teams go who are "Not in Tourney" Quote
the mascot Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 hahaha, i'll figure it out eventually. LETS GO UNC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 Quote
Muffin Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 woot go N.C.!!! That was a really exciting game on saturday. they play on monday 9:20ish right? Quote
the mascot Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 yea, i believe the official tip off time is 9 21 PM Eastern time. but i will be at work,k but i'll be out of there by 1000, so i will bringa tv with me so i can catch the first half, so its a fool proof plan unless my boss doesnt let me bring in a tv and this is really kinda long winded, and if UNC wins i win 2 pools and get around 150 dollars for puting in 20 this year so i really excited about taht and i really need to stop dicking aorund becasue its 2 11 AM and i have to do my math which will take about 1.5 hours and tehn i hve to get up around 6, and my typing has slowly gotten worse thoughtoug this whole thing and im fianllly done. (tired woots) Quote
k_dub Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Ya knowm I think it should be called the road to the top 2. After all, it really comes down to top 2 teams, not the final four. Anyway, I'm not sure who to root for. However, since my hometown Lakers are as weak as hell this year, we should get a good draft pick, so the i'll be watching the point guards and centers closely in the championship game. Quote
