I agree to a certain extent. I don't think she wants to give up her privacy hence the statement from her PR. Add the fact that they've snuck around Indian Creek and other exclusive places for months to avoid paparazzi and the public from seeing them. I really don't think she's willing to compromise on that. I guess it largely depends on how much she likes him. Like you said, she's willing to give up friendships and look past cheating. She's keeping her mouth shut to protect her privacy.

This is possible. I wonder if it's related to reporting that Joan is telling their mutual friends to pick sides? If so, it would explain why Doutzen seemingly avoided Joan, but there are a few pictures of Doutzen x Behati x Candice. Doutzen probably isn't entertaining Joan's antics. If Joan calculated the timing of airing out her and Candice's feud... I trust Joan's version of events even less. There's something about Joan that's always struck me as being a mean girl, and it lines up with what others have said about Joan's overall reputation.

This is actually why I don't find it surprising that Candice might tolerate Tom's "cheating". If she's been conditioned since she was a teenager to accept her partner cheating on her, that's hard to get over.

You’d think it would make her go the opposite direction and not tolerate a cheater anymore not the direction of learning to accept men will just cheat on her going forward.

Anyway, Daily Mail is reporting that Tom wants to keep his distance, and let Joan and Candice sort out their issues between themselves. +1. Tom is the town bicycle. There's a misogynistic undertone to it all, and the worst part is Joan is playing to that crowd, too.

An insider close to Tom saying he doesn't like the drama and wants to distance himself, sounds like a polite way of saying he and Candice won't last much longer.

Hopefully what we've all learned is anything Joan says should be taken with a grain of salt. She's clearly not an okay person.

But for the Elie Saab show in Paris, Candice didn't thank Ali and The Lions. She thanked Joan's management. Itis an interesting theory though. I think things have been going on for a lot longer than a few months between Candice and Tom. He followed Ali in like February. They may have been flirty with each other prior to getting together. They did the Gucci cruise show together in May.

Candice knew to be careful from the start. They never followed each other on Instagram, and she didn't do her usual thing where she likes posts of the guy she's with.

I will say that I am surprised that everyone in the friend group, except Eduardo, has sided with Joan when they know what truly happened. There's probably more to the story we don't know about.
