That's the logic of cultural leftism as it is today. Sure, he means it as a joke, but, in several months (or weeks), I'm sure this kind of stuff won't be a joke anymore. The zealots of leftism want to track down "privilege" everywhere. They don't see that it's completely nuts, because they don't understand the difference between "equality of opportunity" (which is fair) and "equality of outcome" (which is unfair and leads to totalitarianism).
