Yup, this is what Trump wants us to be thankful for.

I think some people still underestimate how long this crisis might last, even under best case scenarios in terms of resolution, probably a year before gas prices will normalize.

I'm hoping for a sustainable peace but so far it seems unlikely.

Foreign minister and other Iranian officials have already communicated their terms.

Iran's maximum goal is pretty much impossible for the US/Trump to surrender to:

1. huge war reparations to offset all the damage done by the US- Iranian red cross reported 17,000 buildings damaged/destroyed by the US so far

2. complete retreat of US encirclement of Iran (abandoning all bases).

otherwise, Iran wants to wage a long war of attrition and defeat the US by force.

Iran's minimum goal is to create military conditions where the US will never attempt regime change and offensive operations again- this means that even if they cannot drive the US out of its bases at least they can inflict such heavy economic/political/financial/military losses that the US will never want to attack again.

At the end of this video, Prof Jiang, oracle of the "Iran war" announces his retirement from youtube and his retirement from teaching (he is afraid of his personal safety & his family (wow!) because so many people are after him now..). He is going to write a book..
