I thought you would like it more :(  I would rate it 4 out of 5 for quality (not length-).   Similar to Re2 remake.  I thought both games were too short.  There are a lot of things Re3 could have done better.

I prefer the concept behind Re2/Re3 over any other of the Resident evils. To me they took things too far after that and the story got overindulgent and ludicrous.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed those 4 hours!  RE2 just set the bar so damn high. I'd rate it 4.3/5 and RE2 4.85/5.0.

I'm looking forward to see additional content and that 1 hour speedrun :56608ac1cc5a3_smilynewone: I think they pushed it out too quickly (RE2 came just an year ago) and that's why it's so short :idk:

Yea, Re3 (and to a lessor extent, Re2) remake has evidence that financial considerations/profit had negatively impacted the content of the game.

Some vids! I'll check out new HL next and then Doom!

another classic survival horror game from my teen years was Silent hill 3.  Probably the scariest game I've ever played.  I never played 2, which is supposed to be a masterpiece.

I played Half Life and HL : OF many times when I was a kid- it was a very scary/tense game to me at that age.

I remember these ones. Psychological horror games are worst and really mess you up. I've played this one:

Dread and surprise/shock- that's what makes them work.  Re3 remake lacks the tension of SH and Dead Space.  Half Life also has a lot of tension for an action/sci fi shooter.

I haven't been keeping up, but last I heard, the Silent Hill franchise seems to be dead in the water since Kojima abandoned it.

Just started this..57 mins  Big fan of the outfit!
