Also, when you break out the drivers of attraction, ultimately the depths are stepped in reproduction and vulgarity.  What men consider "beautiful" and women consider "handsome" has a biological purpose but they themselves are unconscious as to why they evolved such desires and in what components.  Not a popular thing to say on BZ, for sure where people are mystified by beauty and don't look underneath the covers.
