They may do a last lighting makeup and hair test with the guinea pigs lol, plus there are 51 girls, it takes about a good 20 to 40 mins for just hair, plus this is vs so everything needs to be perfect. And makeup take another 30mins or so. 

 

The hair looks good but the problem with beachwaver last year is none of their curls stayed

Paris starts to be dark at 5pm, so yes, they could start at 6pm.
