Karlie Kloss Attempts To Fix Josh Horowitz's Horrible Hair In Time For The 2013 Movie Awards

T-minus 6 days until the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, and preparations are heating up for our pre-show red carpet correspondents Karlie Kloss and Josh Horowitz. Being a successful host is kind of like being a secret agent—you have to have the brains to outwit those who stand in your way (*cough*publicists*cough*), the brawn to navigate the crazy sea of press—in heels no less—and the beauty to, well, look like you belong on the red carpet at all. We all know our House Of Style host Karlie Kloss has all three of these traits, as we have seen her display feats of strength and intellect in "Operation: Chasing Channing," and, you know, she's also a supermodel. Her co-host Josh Horowitz, on the other hand, is in need of a bit of an assist in the looks department. Luckily, Karlie has the most popular haircut in the world and knows exactly what Josh needs to get his 'do right in time for the show.

While we don't want to question Josh's judgement, as he usually looks just lovely when he's off interviewing celebrities and doing all the great things he does all day, he made a pretty questionable choice when he chose his new Movie Awards look. Karlie knew what to do immediately, though, so we won't have to stare at his terrifying mop for long. Watch Karlie tame Josh's horrifying hairstyle in "Operation: Horrible Hair," and see whether he too can master the hair flip when the two take to the red carpet at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show live on April 14 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Karlie Kloss Helps Josh Horowitz Face The Camera For The 2013 MTV Movie Awards

post-42953-0-1446018132-86043_thumb.jpg

In preparation for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, our pre-show correspondents, supermodel Karlie Kloss and After Hours mastermind Josh Horowitz, have been honing their hosting skills in red carpet training camp. Held in an undisclosed location, Karlie and Josh are slaying hypothetical night-of maladies on the ones and twos from securing a big interview in their first mission, "Operation: Chasing Channing," to taming an unruly mane in "Operation: Horrible post-42953-0-1446018132-82094_thumb.png." Their latest task? It's called "Operation: Host Beauty Training", and Mr. Josh Horowitz is in the hot seat again.

The introduction of HD cameras (and TVs) into our vernacular technology has been a kind of double-edged sword. The clearer picture is better on our oculars, but if you're ever in a position to be on the OTHER side of the lens (meaning: in front of it), you're probably significantly less stoked about the advancement. That much high-resolution attention on your skin (and let's real talk right now, blemishes and complexion woes continue on well past your teen years, folks) is enough to make you break out in hives (thus catalyzing a vicious downward spiral of anxiety and acne, but we digress)!

The aforementioned is pretty much Josh's exact plight, but lucky for him, Karlie Kloss knows a thing or two about getting your face camera-ready. For "Operation: Host Beauty Training," Karlie slips into a navy blue work shirt (very updated Bill Cunningham) and enlists the help of beauty consultant Svetlana. The two get to work on Josh, cleansing, toning, and buffering his face, but there's one last thing he needs to do to ensure on-camera perfection. See what Karlie has up her sleeve and whether she and Svetlana can fix Josh's face in the full red carpet training camp clip below!
