I have lost weight, through exercise and eating healthier. I used to be out of shape, sad or sick all the time, and always tired. I wasn’t healthy.

Is she serious? :/

I keep hearing the same from all my friends that started exercising/doing sports/eating more healthy/generally eating less than before - and I´m not talking about overweight people, but about people with totally healthy BMI according to standards. They all feel much better and healthier now than ever before - some of them also told me they actually haven´t realized how bad they felt before until now.

From my own perspective, I feel the same - I feel much better when doing sports, moving around, eating healthy. I totally understand her. Especially the tiredness. Been through the same.

Exactly the same thing for me ^^ I am feeling so much better when I do sports and eat more healthy, no doubt about it.

It's like day & night.

But I personally prefer her with more curves on the bottom & curves doesn't mean unhealthy.

+1

As any sane person would :D

Well if Alex loves herself the way she is well I guess is the most important.

what do you mean you weren't "healthy" before? You looked healthy!

Response:

Me with the more weight on me, last year, was me living unhealthy. It was me never exercising, eating fast food and junk food to the point it gave me acid reflux, and drinking no water at all, only soda. We all gain weight in differently, so it doesn’t always have to look “unhealthy”. For me, I’ve always been lanky, and that was a rarity for me to look that way, and not my natural body shape.

Thanks all for the updates, especially fot the Q&A, very interesting  :)

^ So cute  :wub2: Thank you Laura :)

Nice to see with the weight loss her grasp of the English language deteriorated. She always used to come across as eloquent and well spoken, whereas that comment looks like it came from someone whose first language isn't English. But sure... I guess playing soccer isn't healthy, and doesn't require you to be physically fit at all. :PinkCouture2:

Missing point, but that's totally cool. :PinkCouture2:

So the grammar cop who made the grammatical error is claiming that others have missed the point? It was pretty obvious to me that she was a simple victim of auto-complete (by the rapid nature of her replies). Methinks that she prioritized maintaining the flow of the interview rather than trying to wax poetic.

Go re-read some of her blogs if you wish to see her writing prowess.

First of all I did go reread some of her previous posts and the entire sentence structure was different. Like I said, and perhaps you should reread the original post, she used to be quite eloquent. I was pointing out that the entire structure of her response was off. She was using me instead of I, and her syntax was off which is quite common with someone whose first language is not English. There's a difference between waxing poetic and making sense. What I personally love is how you both latched on to one grammatical error in my post instead of seeing the obvious issues with her own writing.

This is a girl who alleges she went to college, and then claims that she was incredibly unhealthy while playing organized sports.

So again, missing point, but really it's cool, I don't judge you. :PinkCouture2:

^^No, I completely understood your point, but when you criticize somebody's language skills and then you make a grammatical error, it kind of ruins your argument.

So her writing is a bit off; maybe she was in a hurry and didn't double check. Big deal!

Ding, ding, winner.

It was a singular event, not a pattern nor regressive behavior. Nothing to see here, move along. : )

I wasn't saying she was stupid, or that online, people don't make grammatical errors. I was pointing out that the writing style doesn't even closely resemble her previous responses which leaves it slightly suspect. Missing a comma, or mistaking words like their/there/they're or who's/whose is one thing, but I and me?

Older response

Q: Have you lost weight since you began modeling or am I crazy?

You’re not crazy! I have lost weight, through exercise and eating healthier. I used to be out of shape, sad or sick all the time, and always tired. I wasn’t healthy. Now I channel all my stress through my workouts, eat to fuel my body, but still often indulge, and am happier and stronger than ever :)

There's a very drastic difference in writing style, almost to the point where it seems like a completely different person is answering the questions now. I know she had a Q/A before that was shut down by her agency as they didn't like the candid responses and the way it portrayed her, and it's not uncommon for celebrities of any variety paying people to run their blogs/social media feeds, so perhaps it's not her. That or she was drunk, I don't know.

Or you can allow people to discus anything they like. This is a fashion forum, not a fan forum and people will not be silenced because a collective group doesn't like what one or two people are saying. Don't make me put the staff tag on because I will if this digresses into a pissing match. :)

No pissing match, but for someone to claim that she either didn't write a piece or was drunk because of (again) a singular event, is a bit ridiculous. Had she been displaying an aberrant writing progression or was: great-poor-great-poor with her posts, then there may be cause for concern.

This line of discussion is baseless and has nothimg to do with fashion. It doesn't take a fanboy/girl to recognize inflammatory posts ("That or she was drunk"). Shake my head, I'm out for the night fashionistas.

-Derek

P.S. She doesn't drink. She's been pretty public about that.

Actually when her posts have been consistent for over a year, and then you have one singular event it seems more off due to the previous consistency. But to each their own I suppose. No need to white knight just because you don't like my line of thought.

As for inflammatory posts? I didn't realize that having an opinion that differed from yours or from the vast majority of other people was considered inflammatory, I always thought it was just that, an opinion. Again, to each their own.

And to cap it off, just because someone is public with one thing doesn't mean they don't on occasion change that stance. Cold medication can have similar effects to alcohol when taken in large enough doses, so can extreme lack of sleep. It was a quip to point out that there were other possibilities beyond that of someone else typing. Take it however you want though.

The white knight is strong tonight, boy and girls.. it's cool though. :PinkCouture2:
