April 24, 201411 yr Here's one of the four recently released tracks from post-Mars Volta project Antemasque. For some reason, they've decided not to call it The Mars Volta, despite the music being very much in the same vein and Omar and Cedric supposedly being the only official members of the band. http://youtu.be/1dvNFy9Qapk
April 24, 201411 yr Jools show second week: Paolo Nutini, Royal Blood (never seen that effect with the bass before ), Joan as Police Woman, Lucius, Neil Finn.
April 27, 201411 yr Wolf Alice are still doing the loud-quiet-loud thing rather brilliantly. http://youtu.be/YmJHjNk0ecc yaaay! New Pixies?? http://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2014/apr/21/pixies-indie-cindy-exclusive-album-stream
April 29, 201411 yr New Pixies?? http://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2014/apr/21/pixies-indie-cindy-exclusive-album-stream Great stuff. The album seems to tail off a bit towards the end, but there's a lot to enjoy.
April 29, 201411 yr New one from Charli XCX. Don't be put off by the terrible title, it's a great pop song.
April 29, 201411 yr Missed the latest one by Ramona Lisa earlier this month. Caroline up on the old 'hot dogs or legs' meme.
April 29, 201411 yr Another new track from The Black Keys. Very laid back, but I prefer it to 'Fever'.
April 30, 201411 yr It is just crazy how some of these names are so unique. Artists seem to have to work a bit harder to come up with names that are easy to find online these days, which I think is why we’ve seen monikers like Chvrches and Charli XCX crop up recently. A few years ago, many fell into the trap of giving themselves names like Girls, Happy Birthday and Tennis, none of which are even remotely Googleable.
April 30, 201411 yr Jools show week 3: Coldplay, Damon Albarn, Black Keys, Aziza Brahim. Check out Chris Martin's moves in the first one. It's no wonder Gwyneth divorced him.
May 1, 201411 yr The criminally underrated Torres has collaborated with Sharon Van Etten and The War On Drugs on a new song, recorded for web series 'Shaking Through'. http://youtu.be/7kuFLf2oXzI

They made it harder for themselves, but at least it's not !!! or Final Fantasy... And I love Charli XCX and her 80's vibe!
