May 26, 201410 yr Found something off tumblr So Sebastian Stan’s stunt double (James Young) is on his way to London “for work”….is Bucky going to be in Age of Ultron??!!!One of his friends commented with #assemble Bucky for Ultron would be pretty interesting!
May 30, 201410 yr On topic of the Avengers, here are 17 actors/actresses that almost were cast as roles. Featuring Nicholas Cage, Steve Buscemi, Arnold Shwarznegger and many more It's a good laugh! http://whatculture.com/film/17-actors-didnt-know-almost-played-avengers.php I actually wouldn't mind Arnold Schwarzenegger appearing in a comic book movie. A lot of people think he would make a good Thanos.
June 2, 201410 yr Shooting on 'The Avengers: Age Of Ultron' reaches half-way point Joss Whedon has confirmed that filming on the forthcoming The Avengers sequel has reached the half-way point. The Age of Ultron director posted a tweet updating fans on his own personal journey through the film's shooting schedule. The light-hearted message can be seen below. Earlier this year Robert Downey Jr revealed the first on-set image from The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The actor will reprise his role as Iron Man in the movie alongside fellow cast members including Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth. The sequel to the hugely successful 2012 movie The Avengers will open on April 24 2015 in the UK while US viewers will have to wait seven extra days, when the film opens there on May 1.
June 10, 201410 yr It's been now said that Josh Brolin, who's going to play Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy, will reprise his role for AOU These MCU movies are becoming connected very greatly
June 10, 201410 yr It's been now said that Josh Brolin, who's going to play Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy, will reprise his role for AOU These MCU movies are becoming connected very greatly Most interesting, particularly since those little scamps at Marvel initially claimed that 'Guardians' wouldn't tie in with 'Ultron' in any significant way. A lot of people were speculating that Thanos would be the next villain though, so I suppose they could quite easily work one (or more) of the Infinity Gems into each movie and set up an even larger motivation for him to appear on Earth, perhaps as a tease to 'Avengers 3: Avenge with a Vengeance'.
June 11, 201410 yr The following is rumoured to contain major spoilers of the first 20 minutes of the film apparently. It's not been confirmed by Marvel or Disney yet but it's rumoured and I am liking it so far, so read at your own risk, if you don't want potentially 20 minutes spoiled for you, move along We have only gotten bits and pieces of plot details for Marvel's highly-anticipated Phase Two sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is currently shooting at Shepperton Studios in London. This includes Mark Ruffalo teasing a big Hulk moment in the sequel that will rival his 'Puny God' scene from the first movie. Today, Latino Review has fresh details that spoil the opening 20 minutes of the movie. We learn eactly when this adventure begins, and the romantic relationships that may evolve throughout the sequel.Be warned, there will be spoilers throughout the rest of this story, so read on at your own risk. If you don't want to know how Avengers: Age of Ultron begins, stop reading now. Also note, while this info comes from solid sourcesl, none of it has been confirmed by Disney or Marvel at this time.Avengers: Age of Ultron starts directly after the end credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) is seen holding Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) captive. The Avengers attack Baron Von Strucker's rogue Hydra outpost to retrieve Loki's staff, Chitauri weapons and the corpse of a leviathan. As the Avengers move in, both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch fight alongside Von Strucker, with Scarlet Witch casting a hex on Hulk that makes him think the leviathan is still alive. This causes plenty of rage-fueled smashing from the Green Goliath.Eventually, the Avengers emerge victorious and head back to the Avengers Tower in New York to throw a big party, where each Avengers takes their turn trying to pick up Thor's hammer Mjolnir. When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) tries to pick up the hammer, the arm of his armor falls off. Captain America (Chris Evans) is able to slightly move the hammer, but he still can't pick it up, although this scene may change since, in the comics, Cap can actually wield Mjolnir.Last week, Mark Ruffalo revealed that not only does Hulk have a bigger role in the sequel, but it is "more complex" with "more layers and a bit more arc." During the party scene, it is revealed that Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) now have romantic feelings for one another, and we also learn that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) have broken up. Thor is seen at the bar, watching Jane with Richard, Chris O'Dowd's character from Thor: The Dark World. These scenes encompass the first 15 to 20 minues of the movie, with the Avengers cleaning up the last of the Hydra cells before going home to party. Of course, this could all change with rewrites as production continues, and none of this has been confirmed by Marvel, but the site did indicate that Marvel will likely release the following information over the net few months in the form of teasers and other promotional material. What do you think of these opening scenes? Chime in with your thoughts below.Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to theaters May 1st, 2015 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Robert Downey Jr., James Spader, Chris Hemsworth. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.http://www.movieweb.com/news/avengers-age-of-ultron-first-20-minutes-revealed
June 11, 201410 yr ^ I literally just posted something about that but it appears when I saved my comment you had beaten me to it! Not sure how I feel about Widow and Hulk being an item. Doesn't make much sense to me. Then again I don't like Widow but I am a Hulk fan. Also not sure about the Thor and Jane thing, doesn't seem like she would leave him, especially after waiting all that time; and he does come back to Earth for her at the end of Thor: The Dark World. Oh well, we will have to wait and see if these are true or not.
June 11, 201410 yr Wouldn't be too surprised if that report turned out to be pretty accurate. A hardened Avengers team doing battle with groups of supervillains sounds like a logical extension of 'Captain America 2', where a more experienced Rogers took on the Winter Soldier. As for the rest, well, it's early days and re-writes happen all the time, several elements of the movie will no doubt still be in a state of flux. Also, I read that fifth paragraph again just now, and it put me in mind of a certain surprising news story doing the rounds a short while ago. Anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? HULK BABY!!! Seriously though, what excited me most about reading that whole thing was that Strucker had a deactivated Leviathan in his possession. Those things were absolutely fantastic.
June 12, 201410 yr ^ Hats off to Black Widow if she actually survived intercourse with Bruce seeing as he would be in Hulk mode. Worse though if she had to have his baby, I don't think it would be a small baby. Ouch.
June 14, 201410 yr On set pictures (Credit to the following instagram users: africanmedic, robjones84, xcalum7x and thesunswallowedme) There are more images of course but I don't have the time to save them and upload them all. Down below are links for more pictures. If you go through some of the people's instagrams there are lots of pictures. The people in blue uniforms have been said to be SHIELD recruits. Anthony Mackie (Falcon), BJ Britt (Agent Triplett) have been rumoured to be seen, and someone said they got a glimpse of the Iron Patriot armour. June 23, 201410 yr Thanks again Raf. Hadn’t heard anything about Iron Patriot's role in the movie since Cheadle said he was going to be in it way back in 2013. Truth be told, I'd forgotten all about it, but I'm hoping it's true.
July 2, 201410 yr Andy Serkis hints that he will appear in 'The Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Andy Serkis has revealed that he may appear in the forthcoming Avengers sequel. The actor, known for his roles in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy as Gollum, owns motion-capture company The Imaginarium and was working on the Marvel blockbuster as a consultant. However, in a new interview he has confirmed that he may also pop up on screen in the eagerly anticipated title. "The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant and I’m playing a role (in both films)," he told Variety. "On The Avengers, I've been working closely with Mark Ruffalo." Quizzed on whether he will be seen on screen when the film is released, Serkis replied: "I'm not at liberty to mention. But it's all the same to me. I've never drawn a distinction when playing a role, whether it be live action or performance capture. Acting is acting. It's just basically what you wear to the set that's different." The sequel to the hugely successful 2012 movie The Avengers will open on April 24, 2015 in the UK while US viewers will have to wait seven extra days, when the film opens there on May 1. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Star Wars, The Avengers. That's quite the resume.
July 16, 201410 yr Entertainment Weekly's preview Not a fan of Cap's new suit, or Natasha's new hairdo
July 17, 201410 yr ^ Her hair seems to get worse in each movie she appears in. The best hairstyle was Iron Man 2. Good to see Rhodes, even if that's his only scene in the movie. Thanks for these pictures!
July 17, 201410 yr So that's Ultron on the Entertainment cover? Wow! Great to see a relatively faithful adaptation of the character's design, I like that he's seemingly mimicking Stark's pose. As we know, James Spader isn't just the voice of Ultron, he's also been doing motion capture work for the role, so either his robot mug opens up and reveals something similar to his real face or this is just one of a few different suit transformations. Can't wait to find out. Respectfully disagree on Scarlett's hair, I think it's an improvement on the longer, straightened-out style she had in 'Winter Soldier'. They shouldn't have messed with the perfection that was her 'Avengers' look, though. :persuazn: I also like how Hulk's costume is just a pair of purple trousers.
July 17, 201410 yr ^ Ah yes, that straight haircut was awful. Her hair looked depressed in that movie. For some odd reason though her picture here looks weird? I don't know what it is. I did read earlier today that she has three body doubles in this movie due to her pregnancy, and in the end her face will be CGI'd onto their bodies. Then again it's probably just the weird pose she's doing.
July 17, 201410 yr Oh u guys didn't like her straight hair in Winter Soldier? I loved it haha ... that new hair in Ultron is dreadful >.<
July 18, 201410 yr Oh u guys didn't like her straight hair in Winter Soldier? I loved it haha ... that new hair in Ultron is dreadful >.<Agreed! The hair for AOU just looks like a hot mess to me. It's like in those cartoon movies, when there's an explosion, that is like what her hair looks like to me.
August 2, 201410 yr Marvel have just released this rather lovely retrospective video, looking back at the movies from phases 1 and 2. And while there's very little in the way of new footage, it hints at what lies ahead for the Avengers in phase 3 too.
