La Parisienne Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Its sad that its been 2 decades later. Pathetic, really. And notice hows its A black model and not some black modelS. Sad and pathetic indeed! Quote
Cult Icon Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 The fatal conceit here is assuming that these professionals have not considered socialistic political correctness and know less than you and the race-baiting antagonists do on how to run their show. These types of attention grabbing articles and public statements are designed to stir up one's mental conditioning regarding equality of outcome and activate feelings of self-righteousness.....we must exercise some media savvy and not get played by them, no? It IS social work because PEOPLE are buying and allowing their business to run via their consumership. So yeah they better as hell get with the social memo. They aren't selling the clothes to aliens. PinkCouture Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Maybe Simons and Dior got wind of industry insiders reacting to the white washed casting. Dior Finally Casts Black Models: http://fashionista.com/2013/07/dior-finally-casts-black-models/ In a recent issue of Dior Mag titled "Women of the world", Joan Small's picture was featured & highlighted: http://emailing.christiandior.fr/nl/jsp/m.jsp?c=aVc%2FHyFzWtC1Wc9Wv2B5CQ%3D%3D Perhaps it is in response to the heat they have been getting?
