De campagne 'Because I am a girl' heeft tot doel te laten zien dat meisjes in ontwikkelingslanden de wereld kunnen verbeteren. Als zij maar de kans krijgen naar school te gaan. Daphne Bunskoek verkocht honderden koekjes voor het goede doel.

RTL 4 staat het hele weekend van 17 en 18 januari in het teken van Plan Nederland, en in het bijzonder van de campagne 'Because I�€™m a Girl'.

Leontien van Moorsel geeft op vrijdag 16 januari in RTL Boulevard het startsein voor een spectaculaire estafettetocht voor vrouwen en meisjes door heel Nederland. Op fiets, step, skeeler of welk ongemotoriseerd vervoersmiddel dan ook, zullen bekende én onbekende Nederlandse vrouwen in achtenveertig uur ruim zevenhonderd kilometer door heel Nederland afleggen.

Onder anderen Doutzen Kroes, Monique Smit, Ellen ten Damme en Hind doen hieraan mee.

Basically it says that Doutzen is going to participate in this kind of race for the charity 'Because i am a girl'

It's only for women, and in 48 hours they will ride 700 km.

Every celebrity will ride 15 km on a bike,it's a relay race(if that's the right word for it)
