On Sep 28/29, MADONNA will summon us all to the dance of life-

and if we’re not PUMPED, she’s gonna be pisssssed!

CELEBRATION is on its way, and the Girls of Axe-Static_Process are celebrating the only way we know how: with our guitars in hand and our amps turned up to ELEVEN!!! And obviously, we want to party with you!

What better way to pay homage to the Queen than with an open invitation to her fans to get their groove on and ReINVENT their favorite Madonna hits in anticipation of the release of CELEBRATION? Our aim? Get the fan base FIRED UP! Get the songs playing in every corner of the twitterverse, blogosphere, and of course Iconland! With over 25 years of non-stop hits, we’ve got a LOT of work to do… :)

Since nothing gets people revved up like some good old fashioned competition– we’re making this a CONTEST! We’ll post all your videos on our site for viewing and voting, and the winners of the contest will receive intergalactic glory — AND if that isn’t enough for you, well– there are PRIZES too! We might not have a ton of money to put toward this contest (Gibson didn’t send us any guitars) but we’re putting a lot of heart into it, and we hope you do too!

the dress and shoes are KILLER! I'm almost sure they're Dolce & Gabbana since they hosted the party for her!

Madonna lights Sabbath candles with Israel PM

Madonna joined the Israeli prime minister and his family Friday in the traditional ritual welcoming the Jewish Sabbath.

A statement from from the prime minister's office says the singer spent two hours with Bejamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara at their home lighting candles and reciting a blessing together.

Although not Jewish, the 51-year-old pop star claims a special bond with Israel and Jewish tradition.

She's been exploring Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism, for more than a decade and has taken the Hebrew name, Esther.

She arrived in Israel on Sunday and performed in Tel Aviv on Tuesday and Wednesday.

She was wearing a short-sleeved black dress as she left the heavily guarded Netanyahu home Friday.
