qwerty asked how I got the images from Roamans.

I use Firefox with "Live HTTP headers". Click on the image to bring up the zoom window, and then click the image once to zoom it. Got to Live HTTP headers, and find the name of the file from the image server. Copy this into the URL of a new browser window. Then change some settings:

change "rgn=256,0,768,512" to some other, larger region (try 0,0,1000,1000), and "scl" to 1.

This also works at other catalog sites that don't break images into tiles. You may need to change "fmt=swf" into "fmt=jpg" at some sites.
