He was supposedly signed on through season seven, but the season seven thing was just an option. The story now is that he is to return for a single season six episode, which would suggest he is done. However, this might all be a smokescreen by the showrunners to keep people in the dark until next year. What has changed since the start of the show is that Harington has a proper movie career now.
