January 23, 201114 yr Author Now this could have been construed as an oversight - but, honestly, I'd never seen those shows(^) and her 'acting' in I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry consisted of giggling briefly in a Hooters uniform! But I remembered her fondly from the (otherwise) forgettable Sorority Row... However, she's in the upcoming Sucker Punch and The Hangover 2 - so her star is surely on the rise. January 26, 201114 yr Author I am very much looking forward to her and Vanessa in Sucker Punch ^Well I'm half with you on that! Complex extras:
February 3, 201114 yr Despite being very much the cinematic scholar you all know and love, I must confess to having actually paid to see Sorority Row. You know, "multiplex style". Honestly, a sight for sore eyes OR WHAT? Anyway, Jamie's sweet.

February 3, 201114 yr Aside from dear Jamie, who I'll return to shortly, my favourite performance in the motion picture was that of Rumer Willis, who's portrayal of the "dorky gal" was both charmingly winning and deeply moving! Its that same winning combination that makes her father one of civilisation's greatest entertainers. Proof... But back to Jamie. Yes, Jamie. Oh Jamie

February 4, 201114 yr I think Jamie, ever mindful of her fans, wouldn't want me to stop the Bruno talk before mentioning his hilarious cameo in Ocean's Twelve. Now Brucey's done a lot of cameos as himself over the years, some great (The Player), others remarkably awful (What Just Happened) but in Stevie Soderbergh's stylish caper sequel he truly excels into cameo majesty. Speaking of remarkably awful, I don't recall Jamie being in Chuck & Larry. I assume she was in one of those disparaging, fairly racist scenes where Adam Sandler runs around with a bunch of cloyingly obeying Asian women. All in the name of comedy of course. I trust The Hangover 2 will use her much more wisely. <_<
February 7, 201114 yr Author Speaking of remarkably awful, I don't recall Jamie being in Chuck & Larry. I assume she was in one of those disparaging, fairly racist scenes where Adam Sandler runs around with a bunch of cloyingly obeying Asian women.^Indeed she was... Giggling in a Hooters costume, and then giggling in lingerie. My appreciation of Jamie is, of course, at a much deeper and more meaningful level. (Not sure which arse is hers though)
February 7, 201114 yr Author "Me rikey Jamie!"^Do you think the 'gooks' got to Adam Sandler's dad in Korea or 'Nam (it was his production company)? Either way, he sure shows little in the way of cultural sensitivity to our East Asian cousins in this film... Here's a nice photo to cheer us up anyway:
February 7, 201114 yr Do you think the 'gooks' got to Adam Sandler's dad in Korea or 'Nam (it was his production company)? Either way, he sure shows little in the way of cultural sensitivity to our East Asian cousins in this film... No joke, years ago Sandler was attached to star in something called 'Good Cook, Likes Music' with Ziyi Zhang. Though it was (mercifully) never made, here's the synopsis that was provided back in the day. "The plot of the planned film centers around a slacker and lovable loser who lives with his mother in a trailer park. One drunken night, he sends away for a mail-order bride who ends up being a musical prodigy, and they change each other's lives." I tell you, this could have been Sandler's very own To Kill a Mockingbird! Meanwhile in the Jamie Chung sphere, video from the new Complex shoot...
