September 24, 2024Sep 24 My scan. A pure white background version of this image was published in Vogue UK, 1996.
September 25, 2024Sep 25 "Früher schön, heute stark" - myself Germany January 2022 by Irving Penn, Pierre Toussaint, Arthur Elgort - also showing Brooke Shields, Alek Wek, Amber Valletta, Linda Evangelista, Stephanie Seymour, Helena Christensen
September 29, 2024Sep 29 This is a familiar 1993 image, but I've rarely seen it in color and never in this quality
September 29, 2024Sep 29 Something tells me it's been (poorly) AI coloured. 1 hour ago, Tagold said: This is a familiar 1993 image, but I've rarely seen it in color and never in this quality

October 6, 2024Oct 6 Does someone has great scans of this catalog? I torn the catalog for scanning but I am lazy

However I would bother to scan the entire letters only if it is a major fashion cover. Otherwise it is pointless. Photographs are important, not letters...lol
October 14, 2024Oct 14 Which one do you prefer? If I were an archivist, I suppose I'd prefer the image on the left. I think many here might prefer the image on the left. That's the original image and therefore it is the authentic image. But me, I only care about Christy. I don't care about the magazine, or whatever Christy has been hired to sell. I don't care about "The Princess of Wales" or "Warhol's Animal Crackers." I have no attachment to logos or barcodes. I just want the picture of Christy, free of filigree and irrelevant distractions. So, I go to any length to remove all that "crap" because I hate it and I want it gone from the picture.
October 15, 2024Oct 15 I am an archivist. I love when everything is complete. I totally understand fan who did not collect papers. Even if I need to spend times scanning them, I'd rather do it well. Removing "the crap" took a lot of time (more than scanning". I can not afford to remove them all. I already spent so many hours on stefmodels. Vogue US October 2024
