SympathysSilhouette Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I agree with your point about those types of DLCs. They had something similar for Dead Space 3.Can't really see the challenge in having the best possible rig and guns early on in the game. Ruins the game somewhat. Quote
Michael* Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 ^Probably not, really. I don't really like those DLC things that let you start with extra weapons/items, which it seem like it is. Feels like cheating. That said, I already pre-purchased it the instant it came on Steam, as well as the Season Pass. I can't recall there ever being a more 'shut up and take my money' game I might give it a miss for now, then. The puzzle game allowing you to unlock information about Columbia's history piqued my interest a bit, but I don't particularly care for pre-game boosters. Quote
donbot Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 Preloading! :chicken: Just a couple more days.. I can't believe I started this thread in 2010 Quote
Michael* Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Actual TV ads have started to do the rounds here in the UK (and presumably elsewhere too). Not long now... Quote
donbot Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 ^Great Launch day Steam says it unlocks in 15 hours or so, which puts it around 11pm. I wonder how much sleep I'll get tonight Quote
donbot Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 Loving it so far Official launch trailer by the way Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Okay, you guys have me super excited for this. My schedule permitting, I will be picking this up tonight. Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Made it to Elizabeth.I cannot get over how beautiful this game is.I spent a good deal of time just watching all the eye candy after I reached the beach & boardwalk. Quote
donbot Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 ^ I've been progressing pretty slowly just because there's so much to drink in Quote
Cult Icon Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 SS, try open source http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/BioShock_InfiniteI checked the story as well! Quote
donbot Posted April 3, 2013 Author Posted April 3, 2013 ^I wondered the same..According to the internets though, seems like it's purely cosmetic. It was a little surprising, given the differing endings of Bioshock 1 and 2, but apparently none of the choices you make in Infinite have any real impact on the story, just some slight variations on immediate reactions from people. SympathysSilhouette Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 Which makes me wonder: is Bioshock Infinite the best scripted video game ever? I certainly can't think of any better ones... Quote
