The 20-year-old Australian model is said to have been overcome with a bout of bashfulness when she had to pucker up for her first on-screen kiss in a new film. Ward plays school girl Jackie Ward in the flick called The Black Balloon, due out next year. The role required her to cosy up to Home and Away star Rhys Wakefield for the coming-of-age drama which follows the turbulent journey of young love. But despite the awkward moment, Ward is said to be catching up with film director Ellis Down to discuss other film prospects when she heads home this week for holidays. And she may not have to wait long. The Perth-born model has already starred in a yet-to-be-released film called The Strangers, a horror flick opposite Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman.
