Did Chanel leave or get fired before her contract ended ??

No idea. She was never really a popular choice. Most people didn't like her and truthfully she never fit with any of the girls either. I don't think anyone really cared for her much within VS. So I don't know what happened there.

Aside from the early Angels where it's known that Stephanie left on her own accord, probably Daniela, Inés & Laetitia too but not much else is known, it is assumed that Tyra, Gisele, Izabel, Rosie, Miranda & Erin left, probably Heidi too and the rest were most likely not renewed.

 

Marisa and Chanel for instance were phased out from the catalogues some time before they contract was due. Heck there's even some of Marisa work they didn't use at all.

Idk but am I the only person in the world who likes Chanel?? Because I always really liked her and I miss her...same with Marisa, always loved her, but seems like many people don't

Seems like you are the only one, or one of the very few.^

I idk I felt like more people would have probably liked/warmed up to Chanel more if VS handled her like they did with Behati and how they seem to be doing with Elsa now by making her the main and strictly only PINK girl, because she had the more youthful girly look that was perfect and more fitted for PINK and she would have had time to come into her own and let her body fill out a little more like it did later on.

 

Then they could have started gradually transioning her into maniline once her body and face matured a little instead of  immediatley throwing her into the mainline like they did because it just ended up seeming like they threw a little girl in with a bunch seasoned vets.

^ A lot people dislike Chanel b/c of how she presents herself. She has an air of arrogance and snottiness to her as if her poop doesn't stink.

Yeah that too, but I mostly seen people disliking her because they felt she didn't have the body and/or sex appeal to be an VS angle/model pretty much the same reasons why some people dislike Karlie for VS.

I used to love Chanel. I thought she was really girly and a great spokesmodel for PINK. But then I saw some of her interviews and I got the impression that she was a little "too much." Like she always tried to market herself... 

I totally agree with you GeorgiaGirl. I think they are making the same mistake with Karlie, TBH.

 

Re: Karolina, IDK. It seems that VS fell out of love with her towards the end (they cut her from the Christmas commercial and showed that dress popping) but it was towards the end of her contract, if anything, she lasted a bit more than 3 years, like Erin. I think VS didn't want to renew but I don't think Karolina wanted either.

 

TBH the whole fired/not fired has a lot to do with how their PR handles things.

Chanel seemed too fake for me. Her personality was too over the top. I never had an issue with her body or how she looked. I don't either with Karlie, she's great and seems genuine. Karlie looks to get along well with all the angels also, but Chanel never seemed to.

Karolina signed in 2005 and made it through her three years with VS. I think she and VS parted ways on good terms as she returned in 2010.

I wonder if Chanel and VS parted ways in bad terms because her VS All Access link was removed almost immediately, while other girls who are not on the contract anymore like Miranda and Erin are still there. Rosie's page also remained online for quite a while... 

I just wish VS was more stable. How crazy is it that we have not had the same angel line up for more than one year!! I wonder what next year's line-up will be. For some reason I don't see Lindsay lasting.

 

Btw, Behati is looking rough lately. She really really needs to stop smoking.
