Which prompted us to ask, which city has more style? “New York is geographically closer to Europe, so I think that helps matters. I think European women are probably the most stylish women. But it’s a very different way — I feel like people dress up here way more, there’s more of a reason to dress up. You live in LA, it’s very casual. You see great and really stylish people that can dress in hippie skirts and their sweats and whatever it is and look really cool. It’s very different groups of people. I don’t think necessarily one’s more stylish than the other. They’re both stylish in their own right.” How diplomatic! Although we will note that Belle turned up in a dress by New York-based designer (and East Coast girl Michelle Obama‘s favorite) Jason Wu. So we think we know where her real loyalties lie.
