Basket/football dudes are soaked in crazy ideologies that promote division, distrust and self-destructive behaviours. Also, as soon as someone express an opinion that doesn't obey the NBA master's rules, they get castrated... and I'm not just talking about recent events. Remember Hong Kong and how the NBA defended oppression & the CCP! MMA fighters speak their mind because they aren't afraid (their balls are steel ). Quote

PrettyDeadThings Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 What the fuck... Burger King vs. McDonalds as it should be. Not these two playing tickle the dick with each other. Quote
PrettyDeadThings Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Oregon is under attack. Highly organized arsonists are being paid by ANTIFA/BLM and backed by soros/democrats to destabilize the state. The an eastern suburb of Portland is being evac'd right now. My Uncle a long time Portlander has never seen fires get this close to town or this out of control this quickly. Not even considering the I5 blazes in the same period. This is terrorism. Quote

The random dancing scenes seem like a tryout to find the highest pedo bidder.... There are so many scenes were these girls are basically whoring themselves out to the camera for what reason? It's gross and wrong. Quote
PrettyDeadThings Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Netherlands Political Party making a comeback. The Party for Neighbourly Love, Freedom, and Diversity or The Charity .... aka the PedoParty.... -- California, you've got some explaining to do.... WHO ASKED FOR THIS?! This bill would exempt from mandatory registration under the act a person convicted of certain offenses involving minors if the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor and if that offense is the only one requiring the person to register. So a 13 year old and 23 year old have sex that is (consensual...... KEKW..... consenual btw)..... and he/she doesn't have to register as a pedo.... Quote

They should be stripped of their nationality and sent to the South pole where the only people they can harm are penguins (though I think it's not nice to penguins). The director of this movie auditionned 600+ girls and made them twerk for hours. This is disgusting. But, as usual, the woke media protect it. Because of course they do... These people are the same as the ones from the Oscar. Their fake virtues are, at best, twisted understandings of reality, or, at worse, cover-ups for their vices. Quote

Enrico_sw Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 ^ Oh and Netflix is the company that set a rule saying that men who look at women for more than 5 seconds are criminals (the level of stupidity ) Quote Report: Netflix Bans Employees from Looking at Each Other for More Than Five Seconds https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/06/netflix-five-second-staring-rule/ Now, the same company promotes "Cuties". That's not a coincidence. Because woke companies are trash (they were in 2018 and they still are). Quote

The Mongols disrespect his body like crazy They hit him on the ground, kick him like a foot ball... I'm wondering if at some point they will spit or pee on it That's the first time I see sth like that in a game. The 1st time, I thought it was a bug in the AI, but they do it every time. Yes, the game looks easy even from the videos. The hard playthrough I watched had the guy almost never die and he made it in the first few days of release. Definitely an oversight imho. Yes, they also decapitate him with the halberd if they have it! Quote
Cult Icon Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I finished all 18 lectures of Heidegger by New School prof. Simon C. He's a good professor but I listened to his lecture without spending (what would take a lot of time) time in studying the text. I'm rather disappointed as, according to my abilities, it seems that "Being and Time's" phenomenology is impractical and is a castle built in the sky. I was either confused by the convoluted and clumsy nature of his descriptive system or not particularly impressed with his insights, many of which are trivial. I could have approached it entirely wrong but I already have studied a lot of psychology and Buddhism. I don't get how some people see it as a mind-expanding for daily life and consciousness. Quote

Sartre was popular in the 50s-60s to my understanding. Then existentialism declined in popularity and was replaced with structuralism. Prof Dreyfus of MIT/UC Berkeley- an expert on existentialism- doesn't teach Sartre because according to him, "Being and Nothingness" is too flawed and derivative compared to Heidegger. Dodson describes his importance as his ability to popularize Existentialism for the masses rather than being an innovator in the field. I did hear that he became a maoist/marxist after that but that could be a career move. Public intellectuals are for the most part, agenda/fame driven and are unreliable as a source. I like his "Bad Faith" concept, see it all the time. I was not impressed with Nietzche the other day. His other works are beautifully written but the Genealogy of Morals' first essay has a racist and aggressive rant about the blonde aryans and Jews that sounds like it was plagiarized by Adolf Hitler. + Heidegger was basically an unrepentant Nazi sympathizer during and after World War 2. He was also a party member and his activities for about 1-2 years were beyond what he needed to keep his job. Quote
Cult Icon Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Marx's Capital is basically an economics from the perspective of the employee rather than the capitalist like it is everywhere else. Interesting POV and illuminating. I guess the issue is how one perceives it. The book should be taught in schools but I think most people would take it the wrong way, because they cannot handle how unfair and "absurd" the capitalist marketplace is like Camus emphasizes. Life is very absurd and very unfair, and always has been. Only magic could make it not this way. After Mao, what the Chinese practice now is State capitalism, basically the state tries to maximize overall growth by interfering, regulating, and supporting industries, resembles a type of warfare. FDR and the relentless World War 2 buildup strongly resemble state capitalism as well- conveniently forgotten by the American people and de-emphasized in textbooks.. Its legacy was a military that perpetuated the Cold War for its own survival and replication. +I very much enjoyed the lecture of Kierkegaard by Dodson and Kierkegaard's "3 modes of existence"- The aesthetic mode, the ethical mode, and the religious/transcendental mode. The aesthetic mode is the lowest level of existence. Lowest, in terms of its spiritual nature rather than say if it is better or worse. Of course the higher and the more ethical, the better. Interestingly, in this model the religious/transcendental can trump the ethical mode of existence (honor, responsibility, etc.) by discarding it entirely when it needs to. Aesthetic mode of existence (eg. consumer and entertainment culture) is the lowest form of the existence due to how ephemeral these sensations are. I believe that real life experience and history bears all of this out. Modern western society is currently on this lowest level, focused on materialism and sense impressions and having fallen from the ethical and religious mode that had dominated previous centuries. On the other hand, Nazism and Communism were more like religious/transcendental movements despite having poor morals and (the latter) having poor economic performance. Quote
