I hope the mouse company doesn't get a single penny. These douchebags begged for money, but they deserve none. Not after what they did to Star Wars and what they're doing to Marvel right now. They're getting woke as f***. Screw them. :war:

They borrowed billions of dollars twice already, they are in severe trouble.

They're definitely going to have to sell off a lot of assets, but it's not a buyers market right now though. I doubt a company wants to buy them out right and accrue their massive debt. :idk:

It's a transient effect. Everybody's at home, the cash position of many companies are hit hard... but as soon as the quarantine ends up and the economy gets back on track, people will find a job again.  It might take months or years, but things will improve.

This company was too big. I don't even understand why the competition authorities let them become so big. Hollywood is a freaking oligopoly, that's why it's rotten.

If I had money, I'd buy many of their assets now, while the prices are low and everybody is shitting their pants. Once the crisis is over, there's a lot of potential in many franchises, provided they're managed properly (meaning that somebody needs to clean the Woke shit out of them)

If we focus on the postive, there are lots of good things that will come out of this pandemic:

- next time, the health system will be best prepared (it's a tough crisis today, but not very tough compared to many other illnesses)

- next time, the economy will be best prepared (remote work, etc.)

- money will be reallocated to medical reasearch (and if, in the process, we can divert money from useless/garbage research like gender studies and any other kind of fake fields, that'd be great )

- lots of people are more cultivated on medical science (there are lots of great insightful resources on the internet - outside the mainstream media of course )

I agree that industries need to change their methodology up from their anachronistic ways of doing things.

One of many examples........ think how much time, money, gas, etc could be saved on meetings which could be conducted on Skype, FaceTime, etc. Dare I say it could help the environment too without any technological advancement.

And don't forget the massive drop in air pollutants caused by the quarantine! :)

Dramatic fall in China pollution levels 'partly related' to ...
