The last thing I saw about the Olympics was that the IOC said it can't be delayed beyond 2020 because the contract says that's when it has to happen.

 

I did not see any explanation why the contract can't be amended to allow for the event to be moved to 2021. It is very common for contracts to be renegotiated or amended, so I'm not sure why this one can't be.

A prediction (because I'm bored):

- Governments and organizations will continue to take precautions in hopes of reducing the spread of the virus.

- The spread of the virus will eventually slow down and stop.

- People will complain that not enough people became sick to justify the precautions.

Pretty sure that will change too.

 

July is a long way off............ the situation could be better or worse. I just don't see people wanting to pay crazy prices for everything related to the Olympics when a global recession is on the horizon.

That's going to happen regardless of the outcome especially for The Donald.
