Cindy Crawford's daughter strides confidently ahead of her mother as they catch a flight 10 July 2011 As many people have observed time and time again, she is the absolute spitting image of her famous supermodel mother. But could Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia be getting ready to take her mother's crown, even at such a young age? The nine-year-old girl has certainly got the catwalk strut going on as she confidently strode ahead of her mum as they arrived at Los Angeles Airport. As the pair headed inside the terminal, Kaia, her long dark glossy hair billowing in the wind, walked ahead, wrapping her jumper around her waist as they made their way to check in. She looked casual for her flight but very chic in a pair of jeans, sneakers and a fuscia pink top as she wrapped her grey cardigan around her. Kaia is the image of Cindy, 45, with the same chocolate brown eyes and delicate features. Kaia wore blusher on her cheeks as well as lip gloss and eye shadow and looked older than her nine years, and could have passed for a teenager. She is Cindy's daughter with businessman Rande Gerber, who she has been married to for almost 13 years and they also have a son, Presley, 11. Cindy was one of the original supermodels alongside Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, and Christy Turlington who reached the peak of their careers in the early Nineties. And recently she said she wants to set a good example to her daughter and make her realise that you don't have to be skinny to be beautiful.' She said: 'Having come from the world I come from and you know having to maintain a certain weight for most of my career which fortunately hasn't been too much of a struggle...I don't want my daughter to think, "wow I have to deprive myself in order to be pretty". 'So if we go have ice cream as a family I will order an ice cream. I don't usually eat the whole thing but I don't want her to associate being pretty to being thin.
