Though she and husband Orlando Bloom (and adorable 2-year-old son Flynn), live a jetsetter lifestyle, the KORA Organics founder always manages to look fresh faced. She pledges allegiance to cat-eye shades to hide what she calls, "quite a round face," but the humble beauty also employs an army of affordable products—and some hard-earned backstage savvy—to keep her complexion looking flawless. Here, we share her tricks of the trade: ELLE: If you could only spend $20 at a drugstore for your beauty bag, which staples would you pick up? Miranda Kerr: Definitely a pair of tweezers, a small magnifying mirror, and some Maybelline Great Lash mascara. ELLE: You seem to have mastered the art of the perfect red lip. How do you apply it so that it doesn't end up all over the place? MK: Ha! Revlon's Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Top Tomato is a great shade of red that suits most skin tones. Its clever formula stays put so you don’t have to worry about smudging or bleeding. I like to apply KORA Organics Lipbalm first to hydrate my lips while I'm doing the rest of my makeup. Then, a slick of Top Tomato is my last step. ELLE: Do you have any weird beauty tricks you swear by? MK: If I'm feeling tired, I like to put cool fresh organic cucumber slices on my eyes to revive them.
