While actress Eva Mendes is the global ambassador for Reebok's EasyTone toning footwear, the sporting goods company has selected French beauty Marie-Ange Casta to represent its collection in France, reports FashionMag. The 20-year old beauty, younger sister of supermodel Laetitia Casta, was a good choice as she leads a busy, active life as a model, actress, and fashion designer. Her collaboration with Reebok also includes designing for the brand, in particular, a storage bag for EasyTone shoes. This will not be her first assignment since the fashion design student has already worked with Arzu Kaprola designing handbags. In February, Eva Mendes launched EasyTone's 2011 spring-summer collection with an ad campaign shot by Ellen Von Unwerth. Introduced in 2009, Reebok EasyTone is a toning shoe for walking and everyday activities. Reebok also unveiled two more versions a year later: RunTone, a toning shoe for running, and TrainTone, a toning shoe for working out and exercising. When EasyTone footwear was compared to a typical foam-based walking shoe, Reebok's EMG testing supported the concept of the EasyTone shoe, which is to help increase muscle activation in key leg and butt muscles through softness and micro-instability.
