Er, I'm not certain why anyone who's a fan of Lukas would constantly repeat the Pussy Posse label which was made up by a journalist. Both Tobey Maguire and Leo have said in interviews that they never referred to their group of friends in that term and found it offensive.I'd think Lukas feels the same way.

Also, that "talk to me..I'm a star," hissed "Leo".. the Leo is in quotes because that was said by the fake Leo in that article, not Leo himself, in case anyone misunderstood.

In truth, I visited this board because I'm a Leo admirer, not a Lukas fan as far as his acting or his musical ability or looks - sorry, he doesn't appeal to me in any way tho he seems to be a nice and cool person. I know they're real good friends and have been for years...Kevin, Ethan, Tobey, Lukas, Leo - they've stayed friends for ages so I'm interested in Leo's friends - I think it's great that friends from childhood can stay friends so long especially when they're all in the same biz.

It's not a super serious topic and they earned the ridicule by excessive partying and probably womanizing at least. (Leo and Lukas seem to even still behave that way with their parties with dozens of models...) They'll deal, in fact they have said that too.

It is impressive and more than a little cute how stable their friendship is!

I LOVE lukas' voice. He is absolutely amazing. I would, to be honest, pay to see him perform live rather than watch him on big screen. His music really does, make you feel relaxed and blown away. It's each to their own but I dont think anyone can judge or criticise someone based on their looks. He doesnt have to be "out there" the way Leo is to get some recognition.

At the end of the day, you generally become who you hang with. I mean, Leo has been known for a lot of things, Romeo for one. I have never known any of the "posse" to attend a party and not be aquainted with models. They got that title because of their doings.

Actually, I never implied that Leo and his friends are NOT players and do not enjoy models, females, or endless partying. What I wrote was that Leo and Tobey have both said in interviews that they found the word Pussy to refer to women demeaning and one which they would never use to refer to women. I believe them. I also think that term to women is disgusting and to have some people connect Leo and his friends with that term because they admire beautiful women and enjoy their company is what I objected to. If you have no problem with that word, power to you.

As far as my opinion about Lukas' abilities, I think to say nobody doesn't think he's good is unrealistic and not based on reality. I won't elaborate because it is obvious. Even the greatest actors have their critics. I think he's an okay actor; I don't think much of his singing or his songwriting. That's my opinion. You're his fan so of course you would think differently; no problems.

I don't know if she criticized Lukas for his looks, though. She doesn't fancy him, which is fair enough. A matter of taste. I, for example, don't fancy Leo, although I like him as an actor. Tobey Maguire is kinda cute and I did once vote for him as world sexiest vegetarian, back when PETA2 sent me their newsletter (I think it was the year he won too. You're welcome, Tobey!), but I never really had a crush. I'll take Lukas.

How one can not see his acting ability, I don't understand. I would suspect they haven't seen enough/the right films. Doesn't look like a reasonable and informed opinion to me. Sorry. And @Posey I didn't say I think no one in the world dislikes his acting. I said I haven't really heard that opinion expressed before, which I promise is based in reality. Usually he is referred to as a good actor at least, so for you to mention it that way here (not a fan as far as his acting ability is concerned, but he seems like a nice guy!) as if we are talking about a known hack, seemed very weird. In my opinion.

For the music, clearly he has musical talent, his voice is sweet, some songs are nice, but I am a fan of him as an actor and I don't like it when he prioritizes the music over the acting. He can make music on the side. I'll allow it.

LOL Yeah, Leo said something along the lines of he never heard anything so offensive before, right? I laughed heartily. However, I do believe them that they didn't make up the name and didn't like to be called that. Who would? So how they would refer to women or anything is irrelevant.

To say calling a bunch of guys pussy posse (mocking them for their alleged skirt chasing and gang attitude) is insulting to women is one hell of a stretch. It's just mildly insulting to those guys and for all the right reasons. So this is why someone who is a fan of Lukas Haas has absolutely no qualms about using the term posse or even pussy posse, when talking about the group of people generally referred to as pussy posse, which is what you wanted to know, I think.

Everything you said of leo (minus his face being published everywhere) can be said of lukas though.... Heck go on youtube and you'd see pap vids of Lukas leaving clubs with different YOUNG women As you know they run in the same circles and hang out alot. So if according to you Leo is a bad boy... how is Lukas not? (I'm not saying either of them are) Media reports should have nothing to do with this... if Lukas was on leo's level it would be the same thing.

I never meant leo is a bad boy in a negative way. I just meant, you always hear about the people he "hooked" up with. Bar, Blake, Karlie and of course Erin If I was to "hook up" with Lukas, I wouldnt have to worry about the media getting the snapshots and making me feel interigated about the "relationship"

I am, just past the Leo phase. I mean, I have admired him since I was 13. I'm now 25 and I am attracted to Lukas simply because he does music and he's not "out there". Also, I hardly get time to watch a movie (due to work) so I always have my music on.
