Yes, before you know Calvin Candie will be a thing of the past, and we have to move on to Leo in designer suits/light stubble as :By day he made thousands of dollars a minute. By night he spent it as fast as he could, on drugs, sex, and international globe-trotting. From the binge that sank a 170-foot motor yacht, crashed a Gulfstream jet, and ran up a $700,000 hotel tab, to the wife and kids who waited for him at home, and the fast-talking, hard-partying young stockbrokers who called him king and did his bidding, here, in his own inimitable words, is the story of the ill-fated genius Jordan Belfort :p

Re:Lainey

As I stated earlier, personally to me she comes off as a girl who was never part of the in crowd in school, so now has made her life work =celebrity gossip . Or in her mind her version of taking the in crowd down never realizing it still shows how much the popular guys and girls still get to her :p

Lainey was never courted by the popular guy (Leo) , so she delights in thinking some other girl ( Blake) took him down.

I find when Leo gives Lainey a smile /word, as he did during this past award season, he is at the top of her Pick 5, and when he goes back to being in his world ( a world Lainey will never be part of ) she goes back to her bringing down the popular guy who

never looked Lainey's way.

Personally, I don't think Leo wastes a second of his day worrying about what Lainey has to say :p

And , as you mentioned, and we all know Leo has been seen out biking /not hiding his face with Gisele and Bar in the past.

Sick

Seems like your story is more reliable as those from the National Enquirer :actor:

Honey, Don't you think maybe it was just a nightmare? ;)

 I'm pretty sure I read that in real life :p

As for the story about Leo getting hit off his bike... it was his dad that got into a motorbike accident in 2005.

no no,I read it about Leo,not about George! :p

Lainey

I really think with who is she really obsessed is with Blake... Her constant statements of idolatry to Blake! I noticed that in her articles when it comes to Blake and Ryan, she barely mentions Leo, but when it comes to Leo, she always tries to bring her to the conversation with her annoying How she DO that!... and I just think THAT Really makes me want to kick her.

by_princess: lainey actually didn't like blake (and idk if she actually likes her now lol she just seems to be impressed with her "game") until the leo thing happened. She used to slag her off all the time in articles and compared her unfavorably to Leighton. Actually, I think what oxford said is true. I think lainey just really wants to see leo.. pine after a woman? She probably thinks that Leo gets it too easy. (the whole popular guy thing oxford was talking about) Which might be why she is so obsessed with the idea that Blake played Leo and now Leo is doing staged biking photoshoots with Erin to get back at her lol

ok I'm done with this over-analyzing :p I guess I'm annoyed because I actually like both leo and blake lol it's been almost a year since they broke up, so I wish she would stop talking about it lol I need to ban myself from that site

ANYWAYS

I'm excited for Wolf to start too! Hopefully we'll get tons of onset pics since he's filming in NY. I don't know why, but when I read the synopsis, I actually pictured something like CMIYC.. a drama/comedy. I hope it has tons of humor

well, is not good the violence, but this is too much with the Blake Thing, common this Layney is annoying, somebody please kick her :voodoo: who the hell care about this girl? is a D list actress soon to be gone of Hollywood because I don't see talent on her, and well maybe that is not the point, but they had just a small romance; did you believe the love within them?

thanks for the pics girls.

So now Jonah Hill will be part of Django as well, I wonder if he'll take over Scotty part

Oscar nominee Jonah Hill (!) has joined Leo DiCaprio & Jamie Foxx in cast of Tarantino's Django Unchained, currently in production

If Jonah is indeed Scotty, then Leo has more filming to do, as Scotty's key scene is with Calvin, it is the scene that explains how Bromhilda came to be with Calvin

Unless, it could be Jonah & Leo already filmed their scenes when they were both in NO, and it is now only NOW being announced that he has a part in Django

Ever since scoring an Oscar nomination for Moneyball, Jonah Hill is continuing to find work in high-profile dramatic fare. He recently signed on to co-star in Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street and now he’s got a role in Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained. Before filming began on Tarantino’s flick, Hill was reportedly eyed for the role of Scotty Harmony, the kid who loses Django’s (Jamie Foxx) slave wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) to the charming and evil Calvin Candie. However, Hill had to turn the job down due to scheduling conflicts, but he is now available, and while Deadline doesn’t know the part he’ll be playing, it definitely won’t be Scotty. No matter who he ends up playing, I’m glad Django Unchained has added yet another talented actor to its impressive cast, which also includes Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, M.C. Gainey, Walton Goggins, Garrett Dillahunt, Dennis Christopher, Gerald McRaney, Laura Cayouette, Don Johnson, and Tom Savini.

Deadline thinks he's taken on another role , but not Scotty.

Deadline reports that Hill has joined the apparently still shooting film (hey Quentin, this thing is supposed to be in theaters in six months, just saying) but not as who you might think. While he was pegged for the role of Scott Harmony -- an overweight 24-year-old whose father buys him Broomhilda to help his self-confidence -- he won't be taking that part this time around, instead taking on something else. As you might remember, Sacha Baron Cohen was also briefly linked to that part, but he too dropped out of the movie.[b\ We guess we'll see who will play that character (or if it will remain in the final movie) and just who Hill will take on, but there may be more casting to come. It was just a few weeks ago that Harvey Weinstein was teasing that surprises may be in store for the casting of the film yet to come. This is one of them, will there be more?

here's a small article

Jonah Hill Joins Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’

The Weinstein Company has set Jonah Hill to play a role in Django Unchained, which is in production. I’m trying to find out who he’ll be playing, but am told it won’t be Scotty Harmony, the kid who loses Django’s slave wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) to Calvin Candie, a charming but utterly evil plantation owner, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, which sets up a showdown with Django, the former slave turned bounty hunter played by Jamie Foxx.

Hill was eyed for the role early on, but had to turn it down because his schedule was so busy. He’s back in another role. Hill, repped by WME and Karl Austen, will next be seen in the Fox comedy The Watch and is also starring opposite DiCaprio in the Martin Scorsese-directed The Wolf Of Wall Street.

I hear about this 'Lainey' character in this thread and Blakes all the time. For those of us in the dark, who the hell is she?!! lol I see that she's a writer, but is Lainey gossip supposed to be some big website for celebrity gossip? I've never even heard of her, but it seems that for one reason or another she thinks she's important? what is her relevance?

Well it seems like she/her website have over 60K followers on twitter so maybe she is somewhat popular but I've never heard of Lainey gossip before lol I%20dont%20know.gif

oxford: ooh you read the book/script? did you like it? I loved CMIYC so I really hope it's as funny as that movie. I saw a script review the other day:

http://scriptshadow....all-street.html

but the responses on that site aren't very good :/ they seem to think that it's too similar to some of scorsese's other films. One comment even mentioned that it seems like a casino/goodfellas mashup.

wow they're still adding people to the cast? I hope they're just announcing it late and he's already done with the part because the movie should be done filming soon..

cherrybomb: this is lainey. She isn't that important lol but her site is pretty popular and she works in the industry so people think she's reliable. (even though she is full of shit 99% of the time :p) Her articles are actually pretty funny to read because she is so bitter about everything.

Geegine

I see a good point ... although not in the part we liked Leo with Blake :hehe:

Maybe the fact that she has dated Leo put her on another level for her... at the level How she DO that!

But I really think like you, it's annoying that despite having break up a year ago, people keep linking them (ALL HIS EX'S) to Leo in each article and every little pic. That also goes for Bar ;)

Another bike ride???

jackie backer@jackbackataq

Just ran into LEONARDO DI CAPRIO on the mother f-ing pier y'all!!! Frosted hairtips is in apparently

I personally found the book to be very funny. It is told from Jordan's point of view , and he has a good sense of wit about himself /his shortcomings/flaws.

Infact, the producers even said it going to be comic in nature in the interview below in regard to his casting of Jonah

The only similarity I see between Wolf and other Marty films is that he presents both sides of Jordan as he does with all his characters : none are all good or all bad , Jordan will not just be a one dimensional out of control drug addict.

THR: Is Wolf, about a young New York stockbroker swept up in a large securities fraud case and based on Jordan Belfort’s autobiography, a heavy drama?

Aziz: No, and our recent decision to cast Jonah Hill was a good way of countering that notion. It’s a trippy, out-of-control story.

what industry does she work in? The gossip industry? I find it hard to believe she is considered reliable, more so than any orther gossipmonger, because she seems totally misinformed or unaware about FACTS about certain people she writes about.

I wonder if she saw the photos of Leo and Anna J. laughing happily rogether during a period of time before Blake and Leo "broke up" - he didn't have the look of a man who was deep in love with Blake Lively, so much so that he would be remotely close to being broken up about not being together with her anymore.

Yes, at one time , before Blake was connected with Leo, Lainey wrote very nastily about Blake. She turns at the drop of a hat with her comments.

i love how marty deals with humor in his films, it's very subtle and dark and just perfect.

i don't want to get ahead of myself saying this, but it seems like django is marking leo's entrance into slightly more humoress roles, that is, if jordan belfort is the way you guys are saying he is (witty and the like)

(maybe i should get around to finally reading the book............)
