So how big are the chances Leo will be involved in this new attempt?

Sony Teases Quentin Tarantino’s Final Film: “More [Details] to Come"

Another twist in the never-ending saga of Quentin Tarantino’s final film.

Sony Pictures was the first major studio to give a presentation at the 2024 CineEurope trade show on Monday. The studio’s resident of international distribution Steven O’Dell gave a rundown of what to expect in the future, and lo and behold Tarantino’s final film was mentioned …

Yes, O’Dell teased Tarantino’s new project. Although the director’s 10th and final film, “The Movie Critic,” was scrapped earlier this year, O’Dell hinted that something new was coming in the foreseeable future, saying there was “more to come” and that he couldn’t “talk about” it.

Earlier in the year, Tarantino was gearing up to shoot “The Movie Critic,” starring Brad Pitt, that is until Deadline revealed he had scrapped the project altogether for another film. Word is that Tarantino rewrote the script, had a new draft and then, quite simply, had a change of heart.

Would be great to see Leo and Quentin's collab again

... and probably last time if it's really Tarantinos last movie ever like he claims.

People are thinking Marty is preparing himself with his new doc for THE WAGER. Still curious who will co direct this movie with him (if it's happen).

Martin Scorsese Set to Shoot Ancient Shipwrecks Doc This Summer

Martin Scorsese will be shooting a new film this summer, but it’s not one of the projects we’d been anticipating. Instead, it’ll be a documentary …

Variety is reporting the project will return Scorsese to his ancestral roots of Polizzi Generosa in Sicily, where his grandparents were born. The doc will explore the “scientific tools including DNA analysis on artifacts recovered from ancient shipwreck sites, to reconstruct stories of ships, sailors, cargoes, and maritime trade in the ancient world.”

Now, what I find most interesting about this announcement is that it has some parallels to Scorsese’s upcoming “The Wager,” set to star Leonardo DiCaprio. The filming of this doc could be seen as a sort of sea-set preparation for “The Wager,” which tells the true story a British vessel that was wrecked off the coast of Patagonia.

Last year, Scorsese had mentioned to IndieWire’s Anne Thompson that he might have to co-direct “The Wager” and expressed some doubts as to whether he could handle the big watery production. Scorsese was worried about the complexities of shooting on water.

Scorsese now has five projects on his upcoming slate, the doc will be the first one to shoot, the others are “The Wager,” “Life of Jesus,” “Home” and his Frank Sinatra biopic. Scorsese is 82 and there’s good chance not all of these will get made.

Oh yes please!!!! I love Tarantino's movies and with Leo in them they are even better.🙏

Is this official? Will Leo be in this "The Wager" movie?

And yes, I am pretty much excited about another collab between Tarantino and Leo!❤️

No thanks, lol.   🤩

I prefer the Tarantino, whatever that is, haha. Fingers crossed.

Wager depends a bit on the cast. At least for me. But overall I'm also not really into a starving group of heavily haired men killing and probably eating each other at one point. Already hated 'heart of the sea' with Chris Hemsworth and Cillian Murphy with a similiar topic. Sounds like a one time and highly unpleasent watch. Tarantino is at least delivering some fun. Ouatih also belongs to my all time favorites.

⬆️ I'd like Scorsese to make a Wolf of The Wall Street type of movie with Leo again:whistle:

This type I wouldn't mind too, but The Wager idk... Nothing against Scorsese, just the topic of this story doesn't appeal to me, tbh.

I would rather have the Sinatra biopic, though I guess that was just a rumor. Plus, isn't Scorsese doing the Jesus movie?

I love OUATIH too, and yes, Tarantino always brings some fun.  Let's hope Leo can have a role on this one.

He think he's doing the shipwreck documentary first, then Jesus and after that gods know what. We don't have to forget he isn't the youngest anymore. Only wishing him the best of course!

Agree. Of course, The Wager is better than no movie, but I'd also prefer a different topic. At the moment, we have only one upcoming Leo's movie😟

You mean some sort of Rated R comedy or a specific topic even?

Speaking of Sinatra biopic, I think it would be perfect upcoming Leo and Martin's movie @Jade Bahr @BarbieErin Sinatra was a bright person with a very intense life

I think this one depends still on the Sinatra daughter and if she will give her permission. Don't know which parts of her fathers life she rather wants to be in the dark lol I know nothing about Sinatra. Couldn't even name one song 🤣

Yeah, I know. Sinatra had numerous extramarital affairs and, if I'm not mistaken, divorced the mother of his children for Ava Gardner. But everyone already knows that.

I like his voice and his songs. His romantic songs (most of the discography) are perfect imo
