I have a question for those who saw the movie; we've been talking a lot about Leo and his part in the movie but how is the movie in itself ? Because it's been said that Leo's part in the movie is 1h or so ( which is already great by the way ) but what about the part Leo's not in ? Is it any good ?

I Finally watched The Today Show interview! I found it to be nice interview, and as others have said it's interesting to hear him talk about his younger self. I can see why they'd bring up his Jack Dawson role as its a stark contrast to his Calvin Candie. As well I do understand why they'd make the comparison, as Titanic is his most popular film which consequently made him a superstar.. yet regardless of that it gets a tad bit annoying when people feel the need to bring up that film everytime he promotes a new movie and not only just bring it up but have it play a central part in the entire interview, headline and all. I know he is lucky to have starred in a film that still resonates with people 15 years later, and it has helped him steer the course of his career, so overall it is ultimately a positive thing and even Leo himself sees it that way, but at the same time it can be irritating too.

In regards to the wardrobe, let me get this clear... did Leo bring an extra red shirt with him or did they provide him with the shirt? I know this is not important haha but i'm curious to the whole process that goes on lol.

FashionDream I couldn't agree more with all the things you said about Titanic, of course it's an iconic movie in his filmography and that's what made him so famous and it also really helped his career ect but yeah, sometimes it's quite annoying to see that people sitll question him about it while he's promoting a totally different movie 15 years later aha

For the shirt, I think he's been provided one, I don't think he anticipated that he'll be wearing the same outfit as the journalist aha

As to Django as a whole ; I enjoyed the movie, thought it was very entertaining. As I stated last night, I felt the audience around me was enjoying it as well and would leave the theater recommending it to others.

It has lots of action ( which my significant other always likes ) , it has lots of humor throughout which is always a crowd pleaser, some great one liners , and, yes, as reported there is a lot of gore , but if you've seen Quentin's other movies like Kill Bill , is same type of gore .

As to Leo /Today clothes.

They stated that both men arrived to interview in same exact shirt, jacket, and jeans. Willie claimed he arrived first. He said that neither Leo or he cared that they were in same clothes, but someone else there ( and Willie didn't state whether it was a Today staffer or one of Leo's people ) suggested that maybe he should put on a different color shirt .

I would speculate that when Leo gives such interviews that he does show up with a change of wardrobe incase of spill ,etc , and it could have been his press agent that suggested he change so he , the 'star' stood out more from interviewer

I've never been a big Quentin fan, super violent movies with a ton of gore and intense language don't normally appeal to me. So, the biggest draw here is Leo for me.. if he weren't in the film I more than likely wouldn't go see it. But besides leo, the buzz for the rest of the cast and the movie itself seems to be quite high, so now that has peaked my interest as well. Tommorrow I will see for myself

No-curfew capital helps jet set party on (and on)

It may be controversial but Canberra Airport's curfew-free status is attracting some of Hollywood's biggest stars to the capital - albeit only as a launchpad to some serious New Year's partying elsewhere.

A slew of celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx, flew into Sydney on Friday reportedly as part of their plan to welcome in the new year in the city before catching light planes to Canberra Airport, then boarding a private jet to Las Vegas for a second tilt at revelry.

A Canberra Airport spokeswoman confirmed on Friday that a group of celebrities would be flying out of Australia from the national capital, because it was the only curfew-free airport between Brisbane and Melbourne capable of hosting 747 jets.

''They'll be coming into Canberra on light planes, which are allowed to fly out of Sydney, then they'll get on their big jet in Canberra and fly off to their next destination,'' she said.

Private jet owners used Canberra Airport from time to time, the spokeswoman said.

''They just have to lodge a flight plan, same as anybody else, and all of that's taken care of by air services.''

The celebrity pack also included Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, DJ Samantha Ronson, Glee star Matthew Morrison and Arrow actor Colton Haynes, who are all appearing as celebrity guests at Marquee nightclub at the Star casino on Monday night.

Grammy nominated DJ Dirty South is also on the bill at the nightclub, which covers the complex's entire top tier.

While a spokeswoman for the casino would only confirm the stars arriving for the official line-up at Marquee, insiders say DiCaprio arrived on a private Boeing 747 jet with Ronson, Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend, and 15 other people.

The duo were greeted and whisked away by cars from the casino.

They were then driven into a

private underground entrance in the casino, where onlookers say they enjoyed themselves by the pool all day ahead of Ronson's set at the DJ deck on Friday night.

DiCaprio forged a relationship with Echo Entertainment, parent company at the Star's boutique hotel The Darling, during filming of the Baz Luhrmann film The Great Gatsby and was a frequent guest at the many bars,

restaurants and nightclubs.

He was tipped to be having dinner at Icebergs followed by drinks at the Double Bay bar Pelicano on Friday night.

Oscar winner Foxx, who is co-starring with DiCaprio in the Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained, yet to be released here, flew in with his wife and daughter, Annalise, and proceeded to push his own luggage through the airport in very un-star like fashion.

Meanwhile, Canberrans looking to see in the new year with a bang can catch two fireworks displays in Civic, the first at the family-friendly hour of 9pm, the second at midnight.

Headline act Diesel will take the stage at 8.30pm, followed by the Bass in the Place dance party in Garema Place, with DJ Rawson and Timmy Trumpet.
